  So finally jws work our road

  it has been years since i have seen any jws in this road but this morning when i returned home after buying a birthday gift i spotted two women walking slowly doing the door to door work.. i lamented the fact that they did not call here, my son informed me they had visited the neighbours but had missed us out.

  hubby was in the kitchen and had missed them otherwise he would have gone outside and confronted them.

  just as i was feeling we had missed an opportunity my neighbour called me to let me know the witnesses were about.

  I haven't seen them in my neighborhood for years! Where is their zeal for the Kingdom as the end is so sooooooooon?!!

  6/15 WT - WT Society can Run it's Business - but JW's Can't Have their Own

  in the typical do as we say , not as we do type mentality - the wt society puts forth in this current wt study article ( jw's only wt ) - that it's not " advisable " or " reasonable " for jehovah's witnesses to seek entering their own business ventures , or further themselves by getting a college education, or even have a career - due to the imminent coming of the alleged " end of the system " or alleged " paradise " .

  the guilt and control used here is ridiculous.

  in the article titled , " why put jehovah's service first ?

  Don't get an education so that you can get a decent job. Don't try to develop a business. Don't get a job which makes you work meeting nights or weekends.

  But put gas in the car to go out in field service, and to Conventions for which you'll need a motel room. Oh, and wear suits to the meetings which need to be dry cleaned. And give money to pay the expenses of the conventions and the KHall.

  So sorry to hear about your situation, and hope that it will improve soon.

  Perhaps you could try to watch a funny movie to take your mind off the pain. Remember the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers? They are hilarious.

  Welcome to the forum.

  The real problem here is that you are female. You said you told the elders you were truly sorry. If you'd been a man, they probably would have privately reproved or at the most publicly reproved you. However, due to the fact that your "sin" would be protruding from your belly for all to see, they disfellowshipped you.

  To make a family feel that they should not speak to their daughter while she needs them is most is shameful, and stress is not good for a pregnant woman.

  I was in the hospital

  when i got sick, i didn't know why or what for.

  i had chills and a fever.

  Apostates defeated once again.....

  before the mentally diseased apostates could get their hands on and dissect any information regarding the convention that hadn't been released to regular publishers/elders...the society released the district program on the official site completely and utterly slaying every single demented apostate on the face of the earth.

  now have fun dissecting it kiddos, while we big kids get a taste of solid, spiritual meet this summer.

  continue drowning in misery while god's people go on rejoicing and enduring these last days.

  hello all, i've just discovered this site and i cant begin to describe how happy i am to have come across it.

  i stumbled across this site purely by accident...seriously i was looking at arkham city walkthoughs and a few jumps later i end up here.

  i though it was a legit society page at first and thought 'what the hell, this will be good for a laugh', but after reading a few posts well...i couldnt stop reading.

  I made it!! I'm just so freaking happy!!!

  as some of you know, i started college 5 years ago for the first time at age 27. i had been out of the "truth" for 9 years at that time, but had just broken free of the mentality.

  well, on saturday i walked across the stage with the 130th graduating class at rocky mountain college!.

  after 5 years of working several jobs, taking care of two little boys as a single mom, and trying to get the most out of my college experience, i earned my master of accountancy, bachelor of science in business management, and minors in writing and organizational leadership.
