  So when will I stop hating the organization?

  i have tried to stop hating the organization and all it stands for, but in 7 years i've had to luck in doing so.

  i am going to therapy to work this out, but i still hate the wt borg.

  i have heard it is bad for you to hate something for so long.

  I feel this way sometimes. Like I should just forget about it,let it go and move on with life.

  I try and do pretty good for awhile but it just keeps creeping back up because I have more than one close family member who gets disfellowshipped and keeps going back because they still believe.

  I have two close family members who are still JWs but struggling with terrible depression and suicidal thoughts.

  They may not survive this cult. How am I supposed to forgive that?

  It is so painful to watch and experience the destruction of family that this organization causes.

  So, unless they ever cese to exist, or unless all my family members are out for good, I don't see getting completly over the anger ever happening for me.

  My therapist says it's like having worked for a terrible boss at a bad job, now that you no longer work there how often do you think about that job in your daily life?

  This shows that your therapist doesn't really understand how deep this goes. It may take more time for them to get enough info from you to really understand .

  This was our entire life not just a bad church we went on Sundays for awhile or a bad job or boss!

  Even though we chose to leave the organization ,it will affect us on some levels for the rest of our lives.

  My family has been destroyed because of this cult. There are things that can never be mended.

  I accept that but I am still angy.

  We have a right to be.

  you were a ground-breaking female director, and intuitively knew as a writer how to entertain people, make people laugh, make people cry and give people joy.

  back in november of 2011, i received a phone call from my ex, bill bowen.

  he informed me that his dad had died of a massive heart attack.

  Skally,

  I think I understand your frustration, and as to why Bill does or doesn't do what you think he should, only he could could answer that.

  I just know he is working very hard on this cause and will continue to do so. He has been doing tons of work in the background and most of us will never know the heights and depths of it.

  He lost everything over this. His heart and soul is devoted to making Watchtower change their child abuse policy.

  People will have different ideas about where his energy should be directed.

  People will continue too be dissapointed because he won't do it their way and there is only so much one human being can do.

  Some hate him and some love him and yes, some don't trust him.

  I also understand what your saying about Ray Franz.

  People are entitled to their beliefs and feelings.

  Anyways Sheila, how does it feel to be free of him? OF ANY MAN? LOLOL, sorry, couldn't resist

  Very funnyI won't comment on that but I will just say that I still back him 100% on what he is trying to accomplish with Silentlambs. However, I do not always agree with his methods. He has made mistakes and he has ignored some good advice.

  I wish they would give you a go with the GB.

  I appreciate your dedication and hard work as well.

  i know you've answered this question before but which book do you recommend be read first --- combatting cult mind control (ccmc) or releasing the bonds (rtb)?

  I would say read Combating Cult Mind Control first.

  It identifies what a cult is and is very helpful to the person reading it.

  The second one Releasing the Bonds i really good too but it's geared more towards helping a friend or loved one to get their minds free of a cult.

  Others here may have different opinions.
