By reading all the wonderful replies, it occurs to me that it is the small things that really make us happy! In contrast, I remember when growing up around the JW religion it really took a lot of effort to make me and others happy. I attribute this to the fact that we were bound by all the rules and regulations, we were afraid to express our pleasure for something, even if it was simple, we feared displeasing JoeHova or even worse, THE ELDERS!.......

how did noah put bitumen on the underside of the ark, did he get his family to lift it up allowing him to slide under and paint this on?

the underside being the most important face to be treated needed to be waterproof to make sure it did not allow leaks to occur, and had to stand up to extreme conditions for a whole year.

due to funkyderek i have come to the decision to leave this board.

when i posted on the current gay thread in a way that i thought would stimulate thinking and lighten up the seriosness of the thread and have a laugh, he and others put me down publically labelling me.

so i find it difficult now to continue posting knowing that someone has influenced others into thinking that i'm not worthy of being here because my phrasing and spelling is bad and that i'm apparently a "hyporite".

it was the first time i have ever voted in my life and i've never felt so liberated, like a big weight has been lifted from me.

Are high gas prices affecting Pioneers?

gas prices have finally broken through the $3 mark.. i have heard a few complaints about the cost of gas having an impact on people's budgets - especially if they pioneer.. it gets worse for those pioneers who drive an suv.. have you heard similar comments?

could the pioneer numbers be affected by the price of gas?

Didn't you know the high gas prices are a direct assault by Satan on God's people? Satan will eventually make the price of gas so high that pioneers will not be able to preach(in the donut shop) and proclaim the good news('big gulp'and lotto tickets at 7-11). Oh God how will your word ever reach these poor worldly souls? lol.
