No, it's some kid wearing a mask in Pink Floyd's movie "The Wall" from the song "Another Brick in the Wall (2)".
We don't need no 'education',
We don't need no thought control...

JW: Those apostates on the internet will turn you away from the "truth".
Me: Which "truth"? What the Watchtower taught in 1900? 1925? 1975? 1995? 2005?

I remember reading (I can never remember where!?!) that often men express their feelings of depression through aggression. Minor depression is not serious and can often be helped by moderate exercise. Just acknowledge your feelings and be aware of them. If you feel depressed for an extended period of time, it may be necessary to get medical attention. Just some thoughts.

What does God really require from us?
by MinisterAmos inwhat is required from us?
the two most important things are to love god and to love your neighbor, following jesus' example.. since we already know that all god requires from us is love (and the respect that accompanies it of course) why do jws feel they are "chosen" when they espouse hate?.
interesting that i have been asked to "push" the love part in field service, and told that the rest is "too much for them to understand at first.

The Beatles sang: "All you need is love". Everyone knows that the Beatles were bigger than Jesus. If Jesus is God's son, then that makes the Beatles gods. So, to answer your question, the gods say: "All you need is love"! Good enough for me!

Oh no! Government is turning against religion!
by Paralipomenon inhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6219626.stm.
i wonder how fast the dubs will capitalize on this and twist it to their benefit.

I see nothing in that article that promotes the banning of religion. It is a call for tolerance and good behavior.

JW says the end of religion is beginning to happen!
by awol inwhen talking to my jw friend.... she asked me if i had seen the news about businesses now not putting up xmas deco's etc.
this is so as not to offend people of other religions ie jw's and muslims etc.. she said this is going to lead to (a start of) the banning of all religions worldwide!?.
i said i think it shows more tolerance and respect for other religions.... that is not how she sees it (or any other jw's that have been discussing it).. what are your thoughts on this.

The problem with JW's is that they can't tell the difference between worshiping god(s) and running a business. Anyone can worship their chosen deity whether a government approves of it or not. However, if one tries to make a business and profit from a "religion", then one is crossing over the line into government regulation. Is the WTS not just a for-profit corporation stuffed into the skin of a not-for-profit religion? Despite being pretty much atheistic at this time, I am all for spirituality and worship. It is a human right that simply cannot and will not ever be taken away by government decree. On the other hand, "religious" businesses had better watch out because governments can and will tax them.

Do You Know What I Hated About Service?

"Service" was a complete drag, to be sure, and there was nothing about it that I liked. But, when I started to go to the Spanish congregation, I found that preaching to Hispanics was far more tolerable. On the other hand, I remember going into subdivisions in the English congregation's territory with big, beautiful homes and found that the residents were some of the rudest people alive. We used to say, "they already have their paradise."
