If I know Blondie, this will not stop her from "commenting". In my opinion, her WT study is the most consistently powerful anti-JW deprogramming available right now.

add to this what i believe is the new rule that da'd and df'd people are not allowed to receive the magazines unless they attend meetings.

Conventions on FM...

if so, would you be prepared to record and host the talks ?.

Usually you get great reception from the parking lot (closer to the building the better).
Simply set up in the parking lot and let it record. If you are nervous about that, you might be surprised how many JW "enjoy" the program from the comfort of their vehicles. If you are bugged by an attendant, just tell him you have a back injury or some other excuse.

Thanks for the question.
My wife knows I browse here because I showed her JWD when a topic was spot on an issue we were just discussing. She could not believe that others were so close to our thinking. She was convinced that I had contrived the whole thing.
Since then she accepts my 'scoops' regarding new JW arrangments, releases, etc as coming from here. She is still prejudiced to apostates and recites her JW talking points when the matter is pressed.
However she will not read CofC, I believe because she KNOWS it will destroy her credulity in the religion. It is the "unclean thing" to her. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear...

What if you put an envelope in the box- "For the Lawsuits" ?

what would happen if you put an envelope in the donation box with a check, and on the .
envelope (also on the comments portion of the check) it said "for the child-abuse lawsuits".

here the speaker mentions that earthquakes have increased tremendously since 1914. oh oh oh where did he get it?

The "special talk" today did mention the study on earthquakes but emphasised that damage and death were on the increase due to population density not added frequency.

Question on the new light regarding annointed and 1935
by Check_Your_Premises ini see there is some new light out there regarding the date when the ranks of the annointed stopped being filled.
as everyone knows, this was probably the most untenable aspect of the annointed/two classes of christian doctrine because, tick-tock, the world hasn't ended yet and we are quickly running out of people who could credibly have been annointed and lived before 1935.. my question:.
wasn't this date given it's credibility (since there was no scriptural basis for selecting this date) by rutheford claiming that an angel told him?.

I don't know of a statement by Rutherford directly relating angelic communication to the 1935 closing on the anointed heavenly class. However, it was commonly printed that Watchtower teaching was communicated by angels:
1935 "Is The Watchtower a means or channel employed by God to transmit information to his people?.. No man can properly interpret prophecy, and the Lord sends his angels to transmit correct information to his people" {WT Feb 15 1935 52}
1936 "Jehovah has made the necessary arrangements within his organization to instruct his people, and all recognize that for some years The Watchtower has been the means of communicating information to God's people. That does not mean that those who prepare the manuscript for The Watchtower are inspired, but rather it means that the Lord through his angels sees to it that the information is given to his people in due time, and he brings to pass the events in fulfillment of his prophecy and then invites those devoted to him to see the same." {RICH 316}
