Ahhhhhha , Someone has had their feelings hurt somewhere on this board, but don't let that stop you from posting, There my be allot of gays, atheists, or whoever else this one doesn't agree with , but whoever you are, That's the beauty of free speech. There is no shortage though of fundamentalist who believe that invisible beings are watching every move they make. Believe what you will but don't play next to fire if you don't want to get burned. This is a board filled with bitter and angry people and that is OK ,Some believe in a God or Gods or sons of Gods or whatever. Some just believe in themselves, I recommend ,since you decided to come here start thinking for yourself and talk as much about what you want. Not everyone will agree with you, that's life. i was raised in "the truth" and it was only recently that i began to listen to a close friend of mine as he pointed out the secrets and lies that is the watchtower society and governing body.

Not sure what book it was, I believe it was around 1918 or so. Find the one in the hall library that has a pyramid on the first or second page. They believed that the pyramid's in Eygpt had something to do with God. Oh yeah, Russell also printed somewhere that Jehovah lived on some star and ruled from there. Freakin whack jobs !.

Sex and JWs I want to know what you think "he played the God Card"
by jonie ini was a jw but left about 8 years ago, my husband wanted to go back so we have tried, i did not do so good.
being gone so long just helped me realize this is totally false, i look at the jws as lambs being lead to their deaths.. fast forward to now, we are both in our 40s and i have had medical side effects from using birth control and other meds as birth control.
my body can not take anymore, i have suffered breast cyst and uterus cyst, so i asked my husband who has an issue with using condoms because he does not reach a climax, and has to masturbate, to use something that would offer us a permanent result such as him getting a vasectomy.. his reaction is like why i feel even more strongly that jws are wrong.

My dog a goldfish and God
by edmond dantes inthink for one minute ; it is impossible for the human mind to truly comprehend god.by that i mean suppose we ,the human race, know as much about god as my dog knows about me.the dog is aware of me going out and coming in,being taken for a walk,having his meals put out for him etc.
but he has no concept of the place he lives in, the country or town.he knows nothing about the universe and this planet.he knows nothing not even being able to add one and one.same situation with a goldfish in a bowl, it hasn't a clue about the local pond, lake,or ocean,all it knows is the bowl.now suppose our situation is similar to the dog and goldfish .
we think we have some kind of understanding of god when in fact we don't know the reality by any stretch of the imagination.. maybe god hasn't revealed himself to man and that everything we think we know about god is purely mans invention and imagination , we are as dogs and goldfish.. .

I would say I was inspired by a higher power too if I wanted people to believe what I had wrote. ( I would also call them fools like the Bible does ) if they don't believe.
God never had a beginning and never has an end and our little brains just can't understand the things of god. ( so just keep believing )

Did anyone ever "Really" stumble you ?

the driver was knocking herself out trying to find some "decent" music on the radio.

When they tilt their heads and ask you if your OK. Tell them just because you don't go anymore dosn't mean your not OK. Make sure you tell them about all the free time you have and how much your in love with the person of your dreams. I don't recommend you go, your family will for sure have big ideas of you returning and that is just playing with peoples emotions.
