  my daughter has been 'going out' with a black gentleman for the last year.

  they are very much in love by the looks of things and have long term plans.. however, opposition has recently come from somewhere i did not expect.

  it turns out that he has been very upset with his mother since she made several unpleasant remarks to him.

If they can make a bigot an elder shows this isn't god's organisation.This proves to me how Some narrow minded people become duds.   I remember a brother at the convention some years ago during an experience saying he was a violent racist, and he knew he had to change if he wanted to become a witness. He said it those days were the worst and most shameful of his life. Some who become a dud don't change at all, and hide behind the banner of showing Christ-like love to people of all races and cultures (except non-jw of course). I've seen it my self, so have others. Where was the holy spirit when people had to put on the new personality? I used to say if brothers have those view points, then they shouldn't claim to be Christian.

  My wife is a semi-apologist, and it really annoys me. She's seen the damage caused by the society, but keeps saying they make mistakes because they're imperfect. I told her that the Catholic church made mistakes, why didn't people wait on Jehovah before reforming their own religions. She went to her mother's in a huff, because she didn't have a answer, making this our second separation. She wants to come back, but I can't listen to her semi-apologist views and comments.

  I agree. Chiddy your wife may be Thai, but you can hate other races. My father's mixed race, and if you said that you him, he'd knock your block off. He's a well clued up person. If the big A did come tomorrow, I'd like to see bigots no matter what colour they are get done away with.

  i work in an environment at work that is a mix of adult ranging in age from 18-50. there are 300 plus people in the building, and that means you get a lot of soap operas happening from people sleeping with other people's girlfriends, boyfriends and even people cheating on their spouses with people they work with.

  among the bunch is a large group of people who spend a lot of time passing themselves around, and sampling many sexual partners.

  of the people who i know, i have often found that many do not seem as happy as one might think.

  ****************The manager at one of the jobs I work at is a 'ho'. I've been there for 5 years and he has slept with every woman that has ever worked there except for me. I found this out one day when he told me he 'loved me'I said...you only say that because I'm the only woman here that you haven't had sex with....he admitted that it was probably true. ************

  Lisa. Good on you. Some men are letches, but so are some women. I know a girl at work who's a slapper. She has asked quite a few men at work, me in particular since she works mainly along side me, "would you cheat on your wife?" She would also ask, "You like my breast they nice and big." A few have responded to her advances, and had affairs. Her brother told me last year that she has a low self-esteem and depression, and she's always on the look out for a man to settle down with and treat her nice. Maybe her insecurity has led her to a promiscuous life.
