this was a comment made at the past wt study (6/27).

from what i know the wt from sunday had something to do with christ (just read title of blondies comments.

so what was the purpose of such a comment?

they can be fooled into thinking they are right.

A recent convo with one of my relatives.

ME, Everything is going well for me, this is the best part of my life so far.

JW, That is just satan tricking you into believing you are happy, you just don't know it.

ME, If he can trick people that well, how do you know he is not tricking you?

JW, Because I know I am serving Jah.

ME, yeah, that's my point, when someone is fooling you, you don't know you are being fooled, otherwise you wouldn't be fooled.

JW, yes, he can twist things so that they seem like something it is not.

ME, Yes, so if that is true, if he can really trick, fool, deceive you into believeing something that is not true, then that means he could be tricking you also.

We aways gave cash to the CO when he came around, ususally around $200.

Funny now that I think about it, we always gave it to the CO, never his wife.

The concept that it is absolutely imperative that we use Gods personal name.

Even though god chooses not to reveal to us how to pronounce that name.

And we must use the name "jehovah" in substitution for that unknown name.

the external examiner erkki koskenniemi professor of abo university, finland, was drastic in his opening when he said that "if gunnar samuelsson is right, then all lexica will need revision on this point.

quite a bit of stuff to reflect on, especially the articles elevating the elders and gb.... but here's another gem..not as significant, but still interesting.

i grew up as a jw and it was verboten to say "bless you" or "gesundheit" after someone sneezes.

I do not believe in superstitious rituals and I am strongly against incouraging them.

Unfortunatly, my daughters granma is an x-catholic, and has taught her to always say bless you.

It makes me crazy, I sneeze, they say bless you and wait for me to thank them, and I won't do it.

I would probably play the silly game if I had never been under cult mind control. But because I have spent most of my life under mind control, I can not tolerate religious ritual, or ritual for the sake of ritual, or anything the doesn't have a good strong factual basis.

Evil spirits do not enter a person when they sneeze, to pretend that they do, even just to be polite, is just crazy making.
