Does anyone have a spare 15mins?
As i have posted i am now the proud owner of a retired greyhound Frankie. http://www.rgtmonmore.co.uk/rehomingdetail.php?dogid=490&page=2 . Sorry i'm useless at posting pics.
I have been doing some research on him. I have traced him back 33 generations!!! Back to the 1820's.
I have found his race results, he has won 18 and came 2nd 14 times, all out of 96 races.
But having spent most of the evening last night and part of today i cannot come up with a picture of him racing or collecting his trophy. I have come up with a video of his father, video's of his siblings. Also I have come up with photo's of his ancestors, but none of him.
I will continue with this search there must be something of him, whether it be a pic or video considering he has raced 96 times. If there is anyone out there who enjoys a bit of online detective work and have a spare bit of time could you see if there is anything?
Here is some info on him,
His race name is Franks Bypass. He has only raced at Monmore Green, Wolverhampton. The local newspaper is The Express & Star (although i have tried that route). The bookies video's are SIS and Betfair, but still can't seem to find anything. I have tried Youtube, with Monmore but can't find a race with him in.
The following links i have found provides all of his data. Which includes DOB, trainer, owner, races, pedigree, etc.
http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=franks+bypass&sex=&color=&birthyear=&birthland=

There are videos on these sites, but only one of Monmore. There are many videos and pics of his ancestors and siblings.
I have googled many things but perhaps i have overlooked something. I cannot believe if there is all this data out there and he has raced 96 times, that i cannot find a video or pic of him racing. Any help would be greatly appreciated while i continue with this research.
Thanks in advance whether you find anything or not. Paul

Not becoming a regular pioneer upon leaving school.
That was the attitude in my cong. There was intense pressure upon ALL school leavers of 16 years of age to become pioneers.

I Do Not Understand Why JWs Leave & Become Catholics!

"The images of hell that Sacred Scripture presents to us must be correctly interpreted. They show the complete frustration and emptiness of life without God. Rather than a place, Hell indicates the state of those who freely and definitively separate themselves from God, the source of all life and joy".
Surely thats just a personal interpretation rather than a correct interpretation.

If you could get back the time spent in WT what would you do differently?
by Thechickennest inis it too late to start over and pursue your dreams?
where would you likely be in life if it wasn't for the time spent being one of jehovah's witnesses?
was there anything salvagable from the your former life in the jw cult?.

When i turned 18 an old school friend (i left school at 16) invited me out to the local pub for a drink, apparently there were quite a few of my schoolmates that used to go out there. Thinking of the "bad associations" i decided against it, but i really really wanted to go. I often wonder if i started meeting up with my "worldly" mates over the weekend how my life would have panned out differently. I'm pretty sure i would have lived my youth that i missed out on. I wouldn't have got into a party lifestyle in my late twenties, only now have i decided a degree is the way to go.
What would i have done different? I would have said, "when?" at the time my mate asked me to go out with them.

If it were 100 degrees here everybody would be out! I think it's only managed that once or possibly twice.
