  Unwritten rules at the Kingdom Hall, what were yours ???

  every one of us who attended the kingdom hall, must have went through this at some time, and noticed things you were not supposed to do, even though it wasn't wrong.

  the biggie at our hall was do not sit in the back row, i always did, what was the deal on that, why put chairs there.

  - don't back you car in, someone would go out and check this nightly, ???.

  They used to really hate my sideburns, which was puzzling because they weren't really that long....they really hated when i drove past the kingdom hall and honked my horn at everybody and cheerfully waved on sunday mornings....i would go to Borders instead and read Q, Magnet, Rolling Stone and Melody Make and sip my americano. Ahhhh!

  someone using the id "stanmilo" is trying to sell the free wt bs cd on ebay!.

  it would be a terrible, terrible thing if someone was to create an ebay identity for the specific purpose of locking up this guy's bids.

  it would be even worse if that bidder then gave "stanmilo" negative feedback for attempting to sell stolen goods.

  Reborn, that was an absolutely brilliant post. I know that my wife and I will be voting Bush out of office. Don't forget all of the suspected terrorists that have disappeared under Bush's regime.....taken away to torture chambers. This president is the worst in history. Clinton makes more sense talking for 5 minutes than Bush has made his entire term.

  they really would rather follow the dictates of leaders of an organization.

  I believe this to be the case with an old friend that used to post here. She saw that it wasn't the truth, but thought it was too hard to make a stand. Oh well. Her loss. I'd rather be free.

  Who has the best chance of defeating Bush in '04?

  i will be backing former vermont gov howard dean to run in '04.

  my reason: clinton was quoted recently as saying that "strong and wrong always beats weak and right".

  i remember during the run up to election in 2000 watching the bush vs. gore debates and thinking..i know gore is smarter but he comes across as weaker in debate.

  Pacific Northwesterners! A little info please--we're moving out of Jersey

  my wife and i have had it with this expensive gate to hell, and we're getting out of jersey.. so, how is it out there?

  what state do you guys think is better as to employment, car insurance, taxes, schools, etc?

  $6000 a year for car insurance? where in Jersey do you live? I lived right on the Philly border and it was only $1500 a year for two newish cars w/ full coverage....bad driving record? Philly area has one of the highest rates in the country, so i'm not sure that sounds accurate...

  washington vs. pa....weather is nicer out here, not as much humidity. the taxes are more in your face, but the actual cost of living is much much less. No high energy bills, no yearly car inspection. the rent out here for apartments is nice, but houses cost alot more - your $200,000 house in PA or NJ would probably cost $300,000 or so out here. our car insurance is cheaper by about $200 a year, gas is a few cents higher....

  on an intellectual level yes, but i have a woman boss and i absolutely hate it. too many mind games, i'd rather have someone just tell me straight out, which i find would usually come from a man.
