when things are going well, you can sorta ignore all the crap the jws have brought to your life, but sometimes you gotta let go, get it out.
i was talking with a nurse today who has to deal with the jw demands about blood transfusions, and i found myself speaking outright against the jws and their f*cked up beliefs.
if i could destroy that religion i would.
When you lose your wife after 27 years and other family members and have not much left,it's hard not to be angry.
Yet i try very hard to keep in mind what others have said " we are nothing but victims of victims".
Some of us were fooled for decades and others continue to be fooled.
Those in charge at Bethel are to blame,down deep they know they are just another religion but they continue to lie to the rank and file
sure we got to know a lot of people, we knew a lot more people then the average person, but how many real friends did we ever have?
a friend that we could trust, that we could confine in.
i can say i had just one, bro x and even then i still had to be careful, bro x is an elder now and he tells me that im the only real friend hes ever had, he cant freely talk to anyone.

jehovah's witnesses study the bible in ways that a lot of other people don't.
we dig into it, read it, understand and see meaning in scriptures that for a lot of people don't make much sense.. .
Most of you remember the society used to quote an older sister as saying that everytime she received the watchtower and awake,it felt it was as a letter from Jehovah God.

how did psychiatrists miss this for so long?.
One thing they might be concerned is doctors finding out about JW having problems like everyone else.
JW's are god's people and the happiest, they might not want any reproach on the organ.
Just like child abuse don't go to the police, just pray about it

i asked my wife and another brother during an informal gathering of friends and was given the typical "wait till the new system, jehovah will answer all questions" response.
for the last year or so i began to seriously doubt the existence of a "loving, caring god".

what is it with jehovah's witnesses and apostates and "big announcements" - they are as bad as each other.
witnesses are always on about big announcements in the pipeline - just to end up being disappointed.
like the time they reduced the pioneers hours - big wow.
How can 1914 ever fade? God's Kingdom and Jesus rulership began according to the GB in 1914, it would tough to make changes on that one and only by using dates can they keep the rank and file knocking on doors and keep them busy because the " end is just around the corner"
i am currently disfellowshipped and i'm wanting to get reinstated.
i have a question for all who might know the answer.... am i allowed to have someone study with me while i'm getting reinsated... i have been out of the truth for 6 years and i would like to study with someone.

They will only study with you only after you get reinstated and not in df's state.
i posted awhile back, been "lurking" pretty much daily over the past months and from reading everyone's posts - i actually have gotten to know some of you... sort of... if you read my profile you will know i was a lifer, pretty much knee deep in the 'borg (picking up the slang.... i stopped cold turkey last fall - didn't go to memorial, special assembly day, district convention, circuit assembly... no field service in almost a year... these are all firsts... and i am 40 years old.... guess what, i have ignored phone calls, messages from the cong elders, everyone was panic'd for the first 3 months or so... then it all stopped... no calls... they have written me off i guess... of course it has helped that i moved 45 minutes south of my congo, back to my home town - where everyone in the congs around here know me... the rumor mill has told them something is up, but since i'm not df or da, they don't know how to act - so they just ignore me.... i just need to vent abit - feeling down lately because of the things i have learned - feeling betrayed by my parents for joining such a cult.
blaming jw's for ruining my sister's lives, blaming jw's for wasting my life... i want to go to a meeting and yell during the public talk about how foolish everyone is for belonging to this cult... .
it seems i have accepted the loss all of my conditional friends - hundreds of them in central indiana... i see them at the mall, at restaurants and they look right past me... kinda funny now, but it still hurts when my former friends - even the best man at my wedding - refuses to talk to me or even call to ask what is going on and why i stopped... i am invisible.
Remember in the organization there are not just window washer, we have many intelligent brothers and sisters just like your father.
Intelligence has nothing to do with it.
We were all taken for a ride because the jw's had answers that none of the other religions had.

i am now divorced and out of that family.
when i got married my now ex husband was disfellowshipped at the time.
If you cannot be df then be as open and sincere with them as you can be and lay the cards on the table.
Let them know some of the issues such as UN / Malawi-Mexico - 607/1914 that no scholar supports it.
Encourage them to look into it themselves, most of the witnesses still do not know about the involvement in the UN
