  what is all the fuss about?

  when i was still assimilated (i.e.

  I actually did all that stuff before I became a witness. But although I am in a traditional marriage, I am much more accepting of sexuality in general.

  It's awkward trying to relay this to my teenage kids, without giving them permission. I do believe that premarital sex is VERY IMPORTANT! I mean, REALLY! Also, all the gays and lesbians I know are the nicest, well-balanced, spiritual friends in my life. I still don't know how to reconcile this with my general respect for the bible, but I've decided to give up on reconciliation. Too much mind-f*cking.

  Thank you for sharing about your mother and sister. They sound like very special people. I can understand why you're grieving. Even though it hurts, remember, feelings can't kill you. Keep feeling them. And I agree with the others, a therapist would be very helpful.

  Does anyone here workout on a regular basis?

  i just wanted to get a little dialog going with some of the members here who workout.

  i know reborn works out quite a bit and i've been doing fairly well as of recently in getting back into a regular exercise regimine.

  so far i've worked out everyday for the past 17 days, i usually try to do weight training at least 3-4 times a week and i usually do some cardio everyday.

  I play tennis once a week for 1 hour and I play volleyball twice a week for 45 min. each. I love to lap swim - it's so meditative. During the school year, I replace volleyball with swimming - one mile takes me about 50 minutes.

  My wonderful mother

  she passed away 1 year and 6 days ago.

  Industrial? Is that techno? But Eminem says "nobody listens to techno." I went through my CDs last week to see how much techno I have. I love DEVO and Yello. In my car CD player right now is Bowie's Scary Monsters. Man, it's a work of art.

  just a quick question, and one that seems to take jehovahs witnesses back a little, an extremely good question to ask a pioneer.

  "so, with all your hours of service, how many people have you actually brought into the jehovahs witness organisation?".

  um.... genuinely, 100% of my old jw freinds have all been raised in the organisation.

  One - in nine years. I still feel really guilty about it too. Thankfully, my kids were still young and easy to reason with on why we were quitting. My 14-yr-old daughter said, "Oh great, NOW we've been in a cult!" All I could say was, "Sorry, honey. I got us out as fast as I could."
