The careful wording the society has used to curry favor with the UN and still not alarm the R&F unduly will be the smoking gun that the WT cannot deny. One of the best ways of dealing with their lies is to always bring back to mind to those who tend to gloss over the org's whoredom the irrefutable evidence of their own writings.
In talking about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Gozz, note the similarity of wording used in the Lucis Trust' World Goodwill Newsletter a few years back under the subheading "Human Rights". It said "Also the creation of such doctrines as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has been instrumental in alerting the nations of the world to the vital need for attention to this problem. Some countries have even modeled their constitutions after this declaration."

Hi Metatron and right on. Outnfree is right on as well. Having served as an elder for twenty plus years and giving my life to that org,I realized that very thing too. After all those years of nose to the grindstone service I could not count one true friend. However because of my elder training (caring/empathetic nature), and gregarious personality I noticed that several "worldly" people gravitated to me and became my staunchest friends. To this day they would drop everything and do anything for me. Upon my exit from the org I remarked on this state of affairs to my psychiatrist that I was seeing for counseling. As I was the first JW she had ever assisted, she was amazed at my dearth of true JW friends, ones who would accept me no matter what doubts I had, or no matter what I had done. She remarked that the org was an Orwellian system at best. Thanks again Metatron, Dino

I have often wondered what would happen if a DF'd person were to wear a hidden camera for the benefit of a Dateline or other news program to a public meeting. TOTAL shunning is unscriptural. How Do We Respond to the WTS on the UN?
by hawkaw inoh hello, just little old me.. i want to talk about and ask a question about the watchtower's "spin" in the un fiascao.. based on my review of the case, there are 2 "spins" that need to be "counterspinned".. these wts "spins" that deserve responses are:.
1) the watchtower did not keep this un "association" a secret and the leaders were not hiding anything.. 2) the watchtower used this "association" to help promote its educational and voluntary work through out the world.
we only considered the support of the un charter in help our brothers get their religious freedom.
