yes as a young man on 20 out witnessing with the special pioneers one brother said his bible study wasn't home...."oh that sucks" said i......well, you would have thought i said "that sucks balls" three pioneers completely freak out and as a "trinity" start telling me off...i didn't think it was a swear word....anyone else?.
once the c.o used the term "peeved off" during his talk...well, everyone did research on the word to see if it was the same as "pissed off.
".
My understanding of the term bulletin comes from the catholics. I believe it has something to do with a message from the Pope. I'll have to look it up, it's been a long time ago.
When I was young I would change words around, like, instead of saying "bummer", I would say, "bumper"...instead of, "far out", I would say, "farm out". Yea, I know, I'm a little weird.
You should have seen my dog's reaction to the sounds of that pissed off cat on Youtube! She was just sleeping here next to me, and when that cat started crying and hissing she jumped up and started freaking out!! Gymbob
possibly mistaken.. in `rock around the christmas tree' featuring kim wilde, it appears to show two muppets singing from a watchtower(it may however be a song sheet!)..
.
Gay Muppets? I gotta ask my stepson about this, he's a big fundy!
i am, for now a witness on the outside, and still believe in god most of the time.
i have read dawkins "the god delusion", found it pretty interesting and helped me understand why athiests believe the way they do.
but i always have questions.....one that really bothers me about deism is the thought that god has always existed and always will, had no beginning and no end.
Even if there was a creator, that still doesn't mean that he/she/it wants to be worshipped, or is worthy of our worship. It also doesn't mean that this creator can hear prayers, or even gives a rat's ass about us here on this speck of a speck planet, in this speck of a speck solar system, in this speck of a speck galaxy. That was an interesting reply to my comment, and I can respect your view and beliefs. However, why do you say I don't want to worship God? Why would anyone in their right mind not want to have a relationship with the creator? The problem is....God.
For years I've tried talking to him, but he never responds. He has never started a conversation, I have to start every one. Plus, since he is invisible and doesn't talk, that makes it even harder to believe in him. Why has he made it so hard?
Frankly, I'm just tired of trying to worship someone who has created a situation that makes it impossible to believe. I'll be here if, and when he comes out of hiding, but don't tell me that I don't want to worship God. Gymbob
"death map" shows heat a big hazard to americans"the most dangerous places to live are much of the south, because of the heat risk, the hurricane coasts and the great plains states with their severe weather, cutter said.. the south central united states is also a dangerous area, with floods and tornadoes.. california is relatively safe, they found.".

i have no fear about moving back home to california.
Bring it....we'll have an Apostafest right before the "BIg A", out here in Californicationa. Let me know the time and dates.....

That was a great post!
boy..just when i thought things couldnt get weirder in my life...i spent a whole day designing a christmas newsletter with colorful pictures and stories about what my kids and family have been doing, and the election and you know...year end things and greetings, to send out.
i do this every year.
this year i had to file bankruptcy in august and decided to email the newsletter to save money.
I like Purps reply, and I'm with Mrs.Jones on this one too.
Married people should always have each other's backs. If you don't agree, talk about it LATER..... alone. The husband needs to step up to his dad..... Gymbob

When I realized I could never love and worship a being that would put me to death if I didn't worship him, then I knew the whole "God" idea was wrong.
For me, I just don't want to waste any more time in this life that I know I have, trying to make it to the next...if there is one. I don't like being lied to, so I don't lie to people. The same with stealing from people, hurting people, etc. I just try to be a good person. And if whoever it is that makes the decisions about who gets in and who doesn't says I don't qualify to be in the next life, then they can keep it. So far, I haven't found anything wrong with this plan. Gymbob
the wt is doing away with the book study so why not replace it with a bible study.
no additional publication just read the bible and comment on it.
ask the members of your book study group if they would like to participate and invite others.
Great posts Blondie! You got it goin' on! Gymbob
