The point that was made on the show about the 1st born of all Egypt being killed because of where they slept doesn't hold water. The biblical account also says that the 1st born of all the beasts also were killed (Ex. 12:29).....they didn't seem to explain just how that happened . GYMBB

After my wife of 23 years left, I knew I couldn't live alone too long. After a couple years of dating and getting tired of meeting woman who are looking for $$, crazy, etc., I tried match.com and got a few dates, finally found a great lady. We got married in Hawaii last year.

i remember one windy summer day, after a meeting on sunday morning, i walked out of the hall behind a sister who was part of the church congregation with her two teenage children.
her husband did not attend.
the wind caught her dress unexpectedly and blew it up a'la marilyn monroe and revealed that she was wearing (shock, horror) french knickers...... there were a few murmers behind me which i at the time put down to things like "oh poor girl, so embarrassing".
So many to choose from.....
My dad got lost his "eldership" for performing the wedding of his grandson (23, baptized) to the PO's daughter (19, NOT baptized) because she was a "nonbeliever", even though she was born and raised in the religion, the PO's only girl, and had already gone over the questions for baptism!
I remember a balding Hispanic bro being told he would not be able to give his #5 talk because his hair was trimmed on the sides too short, and, from a distance it looked like he had shaved his head!
I had my "privledges" removed for starting to grow a beard, even though EVERY elder in the cong I asked before doing it, said that it would be ok! (I was sooo dumb).
I knew a GREAT kid in Kentucky who was DF'd for working on his familiy's tobacco farm.
We had a bro in our cong back in the early 70's who was a really good mechanic and owned his own garage. He put custom chrome wheels on his car and was removed from being a servant because of his, "showy display of ones means of life".
There's so many stupid things that i've seen over the last 45 years that I can't do this anymore, it's getting depressing....
my mom and dad love my son, but i also know because of the depth of their brainwashing, they won't be respectful of my parenting (as i've asked them) and will try to "plant seeds" with him.
he's only 7, loves his grandma and papa very much and is easily confused and distressed when he gets conflicting info.
since we left the dubs, we've had a couple different run-ins with my parents trying subtle and not so subtle means to get at my son, or more accurately, get at me.
My ex-wife, who is still a dub goes over to my daughter's house every chance she gets to see her grandkids, and that's great, but she cannot be trusted to be alone with them. My daughter and her husband have repeatedly told her NOT to bring any WT publications over....she still does. She also goes to where my son works and leaves Watchtowers on the windshield of his truck.
These people just don't get it, and they don't take "no" for a answer. They feel they can do anything to justify their actions and I would never leave my kids or grandkids with them alone.
