first, and most important: thanks to all those who read my introduction-post last saturday, and especial thanks to those who replied.
like many who have been disfellowshipped (and especially those raised in the org) i've been dragged through icy waves of agonizing hurt and anger; often followed by times of peace and letting go; only to be hit by another turbulent and bitter bout of animosity and grief.
the tides do run deep, don't they.

I don't have any documentation, but an elder did call at my house sometime last summer to see if I still wanted to be on the do-not-call list. I told him that I never put myself on the list to begin with, and it was probably done by my ex-wife, since she knows where I live, and also knows I'm one of those dangerous "APOSTATES".....ooooohhh!!!
After a short visit, he decided I should still be on the list. Gymbob

The real question is, why does believing in the existence of God have to be so #%&! complicated?? If he is who you believers say he is, why doesn't he just make it clear and be done with it?

i came across this local guys photo albums on flickr while searching for someone i know.

apparently he's a "pro" if you can call taking photos of local girls' sports teams, witness weddings, dc's, and bethel photography.

our little party here is coming to a close and i am very sad about that.
i remember on my high school graduation day in june of 1972, we were all standing in the cafeteria getting our caps and gowns on and i looked around the room at all these people i had literally grown up with for 18 years and thought "this is the last time we are all going to be all together" and it made me cry.
i have come to depend on and love you guys so much.

..i`ve watched jehovah`s witness`s live and die for decades..they really seem to have a lack of appreciation,for the limited time they have on this earth.....and..why should`nt they?..jehovah`s witness`s are going to live forever!.....there`s no rush to do anything.except to get to the next meeting,assembly or get out in the field service.....celebrations of almost any kind are avoided..excelling at anything is discouraged..a death in the congregation is no big deal.that person will be resurrected.....jehovah`s witness`s don`t have a hunger for life,because they`re stuck with it!..there`s no way out,unless you stop being a jw..if you stop being a jw,you loose your family and friends!..so basically,jehovah`s witness`s are stuck with living forever!..lol!
