About the south park issue, many muslims and myself find it offensive when they might mock or belittle any of the prophets, including Jesus, Moses, or Abraham, etc...
Being offended about depictions of Muhammed is one thing. But being so offended as to threaten violence against the South Park guys just crosses the line. See, I know these radical jerkoffs don't compromise the majority of Muslims at all, but they get all the attention because it seems these guys have nothing more to do in life than to hate everyone else who isn't like them. I see it mainly as a problem of control--there's no equivalent of the Pope in Islam to say, "Well that's not right" and denounce these things. It's a shame that people who don't factor into my daily life at all can affect the things I enjoy simply by being thugs.
I think Islam needs to do some serious housekeeping.
