  for anyone who is interested, here is a photo of my son and his new bride.

  i know they look really young, but they are 22 and 23. young, but not terribly young.. i would have posted a photo of myself, but since i took the snapshots, i wasn't in any of them.

  news from the d.c.

  i have nothing to share that already hasn't been posted by other good people who take notes.

  i slept as much as possible.

  one thing that i can say.... if i hear any of these expressions over the next week, i'll hurl on whoever says them.. gods earthly organization {substitute jehovah for god for any of these}.

  Those GB speakers are usually talking sleeping pills anyway. No surpirse. And they do ramble for ever. Even though many at the dc have to travel hours to get home, while they probably have a private jet back to Brooklyn! Ugh..........

  District Convention 2001?

  i bumped into an old m.s.

  who has not yet realized that i haven't gone to a meeting in about 20 months and asked me if i had my district convention yet.

  i said no that it was "coming up".. he then told that there was "new information" given and an "adjustment" in the way we do things.

  It's about time they revamp that boring TMS and get rid of that old yellow paged TMS Guidebook. It's been a long time comming, But the changes that are going to be made are not radical enough in my opinion, to break the boredom that those meetings create. They should dance & sing for about an hour instead of those damn vinyettes they continually put on. Boring as hell!!!

  First Meeting

  i went to my first jw meeting, there were actually two but i only stayed for the first one.

  it was actually kind of fun.

  there was role play and that was funny, everyone was laughing and people were soooooo nice in fact most new who i was already.

  i'm just wondering how many are in a situation like mine (still in, but struggling).

  Hi Troubled,

  Good question. I'm, after about 27 years of busting my butt for the Borg, not df'd or d'ad but not going to continue to be abused by some of the most dysfunctional people I have ever met. Not all but many are! They will not shame me if I don't go into the KH.
