  in addition it will also be spent to pay money to a disfellowshipped person in order to find a way to prevent them from assisting the court case of abuse survivors.

  A deposition taken by not only lawyers but also jw's...oh my, two professions that have their masters in twisting and cunning...grrrrrrrrr Bill, just stay cool and answer only the question asked, never ever volunteer any info. to the opposer. Simple honest answers. Bring some bottled water and take breaks if you need to cool your jets. I'm with ya!

  CJ........lol back at you! I'm so glad that I saw that show because that's when I realized that you guys don't just play hockey and speak French whilst ending all sentences with something like, "ey" I suppose it is now obvious that I mainly slept thru geography class. I do slightly remember having to memorize the names of the 7? provinces in the 8th grade but I have since let that valuable knowledge go.......lol...So, my question remains...forgive the ignorance, it is bliss you know. If I wanted to go to the place where the Little Italy in Canada is.....would I go to Toronto IN ONTARIO or elsewhere in Ontario? Thanks for putting up with my low IQ>love, dj

  p.s. The reason I am asking is because I might get hungry at some point...

  it always surprises me just how many long - departed ex's refer to their life in the witnesses as being time spent "in the truth".. imho, every time we use that particular phrase, we are just re-imprinting ourselves with an old belief system that triggers off negative feelings about ourselves?.

  when we talk about our past experiences, isn't it better to refer to them simply as being "when i was a jehovah's witness"?.

  after all, isn't it an incredibly stupid action to leave "the truth"?.

  Anyone Here Been To A Greek Island?

  i've booked a week in corfu, a greek island, commencing july 20. it's our first visit to greece.

  we're staying at a little place called paleokastritsa.

  the guide books say it's unsuitable for old people (too steep), teenagers (too quiet), or children (too dangerous, high peaks).

  Oh Englishman............that sounds so great!! I have always had a desire to go to the Greek Islands. So far in my life I have only been to Italy and loved it. My grandparents were from there. Have a wonderful trip and please post some pic's when you return....I'd love that! I can't convince my husband to fly so if I ever get to Greece, I guess I'll be alone....

  first let me apologize for any typos i make while posting this.

  tis a bit early and my hands and eyes aren't working to well together yet.. took mom to the doctor on may 23rd.

  I know what that is like. I've been going thru that stuff by myself for my dad's brain cancer treatments for two years now. Your post reminds me of my daily nonsense that I go thru....My mom or siblings have no idea what that is like or how much time ot takes up. It has basically controlled my life for the past two years. Everything else in my life has gone on hold. I glady do it for my pop but my jw siblings just don't get what is involved in handling this end of it. It is hard, I know Sadie. I hope that your family appreciates all that you do. Does your mom need a hip replacement for sure? How could they get knee and hip pain confused? Oh......nevermind. My dad nearly had his brain radiated with such a high level that if I didn't catch it and have the amount lowered....he would have died from it a year ago. It is a big responsiblity to be on top of itall. I appreciate you. Love, dj
