  New World Translation Errors

  hi guys, im on a time budget here.

  a jw friend of mine is trying to prove that i have a wrong, twisted bible full of errors and added scriptures.

  i have a king james bible, and he has the nwt of course.

  I am weary of your nonsense now. You deliberately left the John 1:1 thread because you were offended by Undisfellowship's abillity to correct your babble with the bible. There is nothing new here that you stated but I suppose you needed a new stage for your performance. I see many flaws in your arguments as any child of God can see as well. You deliberatley ignore that by the word of God the heavens and earth were made. "By means of" is leftover watchtower rubbish. Your John 1:1 thread failed and you latched onto to siegswife because you saw an opportunity to get out of the mess that you created and steal away attention for yourself to further promulgate your trash. You make God a liar when you ignore Isaiah 44:24 and Job 9:8 and Collosians 1 and Hebrews 1:10 and Psalm 33:6 and John 1:1 (Johannes Greber's version is your preference) and the list goes on and on......Sorry for the offense siegswife, but it was not intended to be private on a public forum such as this.

  i don't think she has posted this yet.

  mulan called me yesterday afternoon to tell me her dad had suffered a stroke.

  i did talk to my dad last night and he seemed to think that grandpa was going to be ok. i had a birthday party with nine little girls all afternoon and was completely out of touch as a result.. i think she could use a hug, don't you?.

  You are NOT a bad daughter!!! Oh, how we try to blame ourselves..... It sounds as if the doctor was referring to TIA's (transient ischemia attacks) aka mini strokes? I have learned a little bit since my dad got sick (2yrs.ago w/ brain tumor) that we are never prepared for the death of a parent. We may think that we are but we aren't. It looks as if you will be having your daddy around a while longer!!. I'm glad that it is sounding so minor, in a relative sense of course. Your parents are blessed to have you for a kid!! love, dj

  You are probably better off with Randy..lol..but I can tell you what is has meant for me... It has been a release from fears and man's teachings that put heavy burdens on me. It is the ability to read the bible and see the truths in it without needing doctrines of men. It is the freedom in my faith that makes me not a slave to sin but alive to God. I know that whatever I may do if it comes from faith is not sin. It is a personal freedom. It has been a blessing deep in my soul to know that I do not have to please man in order to be approved by God. I still see many people in many different religions held in a spiritual bondage...ie: Do this, Don't do that! Say this! Don't say that! Don't touch that! Don't drink that or eat that! Do this on this day or that day! Don't do that on this day.........etc...it goes on forever, doesn't it? I am not able to accurately put into words, the depths of the freedoms I feel. It is an assurance of God's too. Nah, i did it no justice...lol...go read Randy's links...

  last night when i went to bed, my heart was quite heavy: there were things on it, in it, thereon... whatever... that i could not reconcile: i know what i have heard from my lord - how do i get others who love him to grasp that such a thing is possible, to understand that they do not have to take my word for it, but can ask him, for i am nothing more than a good-for-nothing-slave... and have "sold" myself into the "service" of the one who "bought" me... so that it is his will that i must obey... whether earthling man hears... or refrain?

  this is not new "fight" with me, let me tell you: i know exactly how jeremiah felt, for i cannot count the times my heart has felt the same thing.
