how can i get my hands on a kingdom interlinear?
a jw friend said that they weren't in print any more, so he made a special order to get the book, but he said that he couldn't give it to me, just lend it.
is there any way i can make a special order for that book?

I've been trying to get one for a few years...I guess I have to pay some high price for one....??? My family doesn't seem to want me to have one. I am 100% sure that if I was asking for a book that taught jw doctrine, instead of a book that proves that they are wrong.....I'd have 250 books by now and a study to boot. You are not the only one to be told by a member that it is no longer being published. I dunnooooo....

well i have been feeling a bit like crap lately.
work has been very stressful and my attempts to make new friends outside of the jw's have been mostly futile.
the people i work with are immature and are more interested in the latest office gossip and whose doing what than anything else.

I know it is hard. I have two sisters who don't care about me. I miss them too. I used you fantasize about having them as my friends and the things that we could share. It has gotten easier over time and I have come to accept it now but I will probably always keep hope that one day they will wake up. I had a terrible time adjusting to life outside the wt mentality. There will always be people in the world like the people in your office so just keep your chin up and continue to see that they are wrong. Maybe one day you will be able to help them see that they are engaged in futile, destructive behavior. You have a good head on your shoulders, flower. This may sound silly to you but I have found that doing good for others who are less fortunate is a huge pick me upper. You will see another side of life that is beautiful and caring. You will find happiness in time. I used to think the same exact thing that you said below:

I have one! I didn't deserve him nor do I always act friendly back. He is always constant and loving. I admire him and respect him deeply. I wish that I was more like him. He is caring and compassionate, loyal and tender hearted. He is extremely understanding and overlooks my many shortcomings. His smile is warm and genuine and his tender care for me is so unmerited. I have kicked him with my mouth and cut him to the heart but he keeps giving me his love anyway. He prays for me when I don't feel well and takes over my responsiblities. He is the best friend and person that I have ever known on this earth. His prayers get answers too. I am so grateful to see the love of Christ in my husband's eyes. i recently was told by an elder in queens, that there are so many young people being df'd, marriage problems and divorce, that some congregations in the queens, bronx and manhattan areas are very small as a result of the above problems.
he said that there is an unofficial policy of the gb, that they don't like congregations with less than 75 publishers.
as a result, some kingdom halls are being sold and congregations with few publishers are being consoloidated with bigger congregations.
I have heard of cong.'s being joined for two different reasons...one is size and the other is the inability of the cong to pay the mortgage for the hall to the wt. I have firsthand knowledge of it from an elder in a poor Hispanic cong. Their doors were closed because they were unable to meet the mortgage. I suppose that the less than 75 publishers thing....would possibly effect the ability to pay the mortgage and therefore it would be joined to another in hopes that the wt would get their $$$$$. Then, after the halls are paid for by the cong., the hall is then dedicated back to the wt corp.
I think it's a brood of vipers, I mean lawyers...
some of you may remember that my husband suffered heart failure in may and the words "heart transplant" were mentioned often.
he has been in heart rehab (diet and exercise and close monitoring) and meds since then.
last week, he was told that the heart transplant was off the table.

I'm so sorry for your situation. I have followed your story. I am sure that one day your children or atleast one of them will wake up, atleast I pray that. Please do remember this though, the jws are not Christians. Please don't categorize them as such. They are a cult. I am hopeful that your future rallies will be successful and your suit as well. Nice to meet you. My opinion is to just tell the truth. You will feel better and life will work out better when you are true to yourself and others. You might have to deal with family members who will be upset and angry with you but the ones who really love you will eventually find a way to you. I wish you the best. love, dj
