Hey Es its a tricky one with your parents isn't it, why can't it all be normal?! Hubby wasn't going to tell his mother but i said he should as she'd be hurt if she found out via someone else, and i knew that they'd say i put him up to it(obviously as the d'ad one everything's my fault!), but as you know from my post the other day, when he told her the reaction he got made us wish we hadn't bothered. If you decide to tell them, it may be easier to text them or email them, that way you can feel good about yourself but you won't have to put up with any 'comments' they may make. It really upset me mil telling hubbs she wouldn't be coming round to see ours. Her loss though definately not ours! You don't have to let them know yet anyway , i was 10 wks when hubby told her, she just finished by saying she has to respect her beliefs, funny how they don't respect ours though! Hope your'e not feeling too yukky today!

just done the test and the line came up straight away....... we were planning on falling pregnant in about three months and happend to fall pregnant straight away...im still in shock but had to share it with you all my family.

to be honest with you, everytime i hear it i cringe.

Personally it would really annoy me if i was the supreme creator and no one could get my name right!Can't see the Queen being happy if her name was always being mispronounced somehow!Also you wouldn't just call her by her first name would you, she'd think it was disrespectful.I think i'm trying to say something but its not making sense lol!Must be near by bedtime!

So in those pics eveyone looks so healthy etc cos sickness and death has passed away etc etc BUT what would happen if say that girl fell off the elephant in the picture broke all her bones, and the elephant stamped on her brother and killed him?Would they just suddenly jump up from the floor again miraculously healed and restore to life?! Or would they have to have Jesus come down to earth and raise them from the dead?Just something i've always wondered cos you can't prevent accidents surely no matter how perfect you are?Wonder if Jesus ever stubbed his toe or something like that?

I received a package from my mother today
by ex-nj-jw inmy dub mother sent me a package today, inside was a nwt bible, a picture of me around age 5 at an assembly - i looked miserable and my dad was holding a battery operated fan in front of me, and a letter, here is the letter.
i ask that you remember that i was 18 when i left and i'm now 42, that there is a total of 8 children in my family and there are only 2 that are still jw's, oh and that my mother is a complete nutcase!

Sorry you received such a cruel letter hun, but as you say she is obviously a bit madits just not a normal letter to send your child! I'm glad you can see the funny side of it as well though, otherwise it'll just eat you up. When i see things like this it makes me so glad i've got out and the kiddies too so their minds can't be filled with the jw toxic waste!Hugs xxx

or are they appointed by a us based incorporation?

Hi Warlock personally i disbelieve in God more than i believe (if that makes sense) but i would never say to someone that believes that they've got it wrong or that they have to believe what i think, we are all individuals and have the right to believe in what we want, lots of people take great comfort in drawing close to God and it is something i quite often wish i had. I don't think its right when people try to say the other side are wrong, no one really knows for sure and trying to force views onto someone else smacks too much of control and watchtowerism to me. I tend to avoid those sort of threads to be honest, seeing the argument go back and forth bores and annoys me especially when it gets heated. Personally when i think about it i think that something must have created us when you look at us and the beauty around us etc but i think whatever it was has either died or abandoned us, but lots of people will think that sounds daft as well i am sure lol!

Do You Think The Watchtower will Crack Down On Faders?
by choosing life ini have been wondering for a while if the new koolaid version of the watchtower will try to crack down on faders in some way.
i read about the marking talk of nvrgbk's brother and i wonder if this is a sign of things to come.
i know the elders do not like to have loose ends out there that they can neither control or influence.. what do you think?

What was the marking talk !I missed that thread. They are defo trying to crack down on them around here (i really think the elders are much stricter in the country towns than the bigger places) they pushed me so much i d'ad, and now my hubbys own step dad elder and his mother have been contacting him to get him to say if he wants to d'a. His own mother, and she knows if he does she'll cut him out of her life!!! I really do think they will try to hound out as many faders as they can as time goes on, turns out its my fault they are hounding him cos i put a sign on the door saying 'no religious callers' and they are trying to get me or hubby to say if he agrees with that sign (of course i just tell them thats hubbys business and no one elses), so why don't they stop calling then aagh!

ES!!!! thats so cool!I read the title of your thread and i thought she's pregnant and i was right!CONGRATULATONS!
