so i'm coming to all of you good folks to see what you all think would be good for a hypothesis essay.
i'm stuck with ideas.

It sound like you would need to make a very specific point about controlling religions - for example, a cause and effect situation -- and then proceed to support that hypothesis in your paper.
So... the hypothesis says that controlling religions (define) use mind control and behavior modification to keep people in line.
This is proven by X Y and Z.
Or something like that.

The twisted words of the bible and jehovah is jesus
by sinis ini've been reading a few articles on the subject of jehovah being jesus in the new testament, which makes perfect sense.
as i don't believe the bible is the word of god (or has been severely altered by man), i do believe there may be some small shreds of truth.
could it be that yahweh in the ot is jesus of the nt?

It would be a whole lot more simple if I saw some of these miracles for myself, and not have to take the word of someone who wrote something down 2,000 years ago.
If the performing of miracles was the key for the apostles and others to believe in Jesus, why should we today be expected to accept anything less? They got miracles; we get paper and ink. BIG difference!Yes! this hit the nail on the head for me.

just looked up my old high school in classmates.com, i saw this dude who was a couple years older than me, didn't really know him but i knew his brother (who left the org the same time i did), his dad kicked him out of the house and he lived in his car, they are sons of one of the elders (assholes) who df'd my dad.
the good son was a good little jw that did everything a jw father (elder) would want his son to do, on his bio on classmates.com he says that he is gay, ha ha ha ha.

I would think that this would end for good the issue of whether people who are gay *choose* to be gay. Why anyone could believe that so many people would just up and decide to prefer a lifestyle that alienated them from their families and society is beyond me. I believe that it takes an enormous amount of courage to come out and I admire the people who do.

I doubt that he would be allowed to rot in prison -- if he was found guilty and NOT executed (that must qualify for the death penalty...) how could he possibly survive prison?
