IS JWD YOUR SHRINK?

I love this place! I feel like no one could understand what is like to be so caught up in and believing the WTS is right, only to find out they are wrong except an exmember. I was confused and scared when I started to doubt and then just sad and devastated when I found out all my doubts were founded. But everyone here was there for me. Giving me great advice and just being loving.
I try to talk to friends and my husband about being an xJW and they don't get how the WTS can destroy lives, or make you miserable. They just see them as other men and don't understand how we can get so caught up in it in the first place. Or let them control our lives to such an extent. But you all do, you get it and how hard it is to leave. And how confusing it all is and hurt or bitter you are when it's all said and done.
Plus, you are are just plain fun!

any ideas?

I've been on the internet so long tonight he asked me what was up ( he never asks, he is still confused on why I don't want to be a JW anymore, he's a non-dub). So before he could start growling, I told him you were gay.lol He was like, oh okay, carry on and just lost interest. Your a much better conversationalist (is that a word. lol). lol

Everyone has a song

its only that when you hear that song it takes you back even catching you off guard and suddenly your back in high school or remembering someone you loved and lost.

Oh hambeak, don't give up now! You've come so far. You have someone who cares about you unconditionally and his family. I can understand the hurt you are feeling. But don't let them win. They (JW's) think you leave the truth and your life goes down hill. But that is not the case! We are living and loving life because we are free of their hypocrisy.You have so many years ahead of you to live your life and be happy. Don't let someelses cold-heartedness, mean-spirted nature, and unloving attitude be your deciding factor for how you spend the rest years on this earth.

Just trying to be a good person by following the golden rule. Do unto others as you shall have them do unto you. It's simple but I think it works.
