Is it just me or are they getting worse about asking for money I mean they might as well pass around the plate that they take so much pride in not passiing.

Don't worry according to todays Watchtower you can get away with smoking also, but only a couple of times if no one finds out. So see they really aren't that hypocrytical you can get away with a couple of murders and a couple of cigaretes.

A very dangerous belief!!
by Gill inwe were unfortunate enough to be invited to spend some time with some of my jw relatives the other day.
my husbands jw relatives totally shun us but, my side of the family occassionally 'stoop' to allow us into their presence once in a while.
(a totally worthless occassion in which no 'real' conversation is permitted!).

Percentage of men who don't wash hands after pooing

this guy came out of the stall and clearly just finished his business and didn't wash his hands.
i see this a lot.

by Stephanus ini was thinking about the conditional nature of "love" in the 'tower, when i realised that "conditionality" is pretty well the nature of the beast.
hence "conditional morality".
for example, the rules on lying: that witholding the truth from undeserving ones is not wrong.. what other examples are there?.

I am particularly fond of they reasoning that basicly anything is fair game as long as it's in the interest of "spiritual warfare". They use that as a get out of jail free card alot.

by lola28 inok, help me out people, what would you do if you knew that someone from your home had stolen money from you?
today i was going to go to the bank till i realized that i was missing 240.00, i know this money was in my purse because i put it there on wed night, i know i did not lose it because i have not touched my wallet in as long.
i also have not been out anywhere so i could not have misplaced the money.

Do you find the forum addictive?
by avidbiblereader inhow many find that they need or want to be on the forum at least once a day?
do you like keeping up with fellow posters and friends or do like being able to give your thoughts without the fear of being criticized?
i look at some of the amounts that some have posted wow and i am no better for only being here less than a month, it is a great place to talk and get loads of wisdom from others on a variety of subjects, thanks everyone for the thoughtful expressions and heartfelt posts.. abr.
