Witnesses at the Fair

just went to the la county fair yesterday.

just before the gate, there were two large and prominent display stands.

one said "ask about our free bible study" and other stuff and the other had colorful tracts pasted all over.

Maybe it was just my hall but when I was "in" that sort of thing was never done. It was a "Christendom" thing.

It's funny how someone can stand there in public and try to force feed info that was provided by an "unknown" source. Unknown in that they don't personally know these people writing this stuff. Yet it is okay to hand it to a stranger in the hopes of changing their life.

Snake oil is what it is!

I'm a Greek scholar, Natey boy.

It's funny how he's a Greek scholar yet his sentence structure is so poor. Usually you would have to go to college for such training. (or at least be able to write a paper)

I love and hate how this "scholar" title gets thrown around. It's funny to me but at the same time it is an insult to real scholars.

Ask for the credentials and watch him squirm.

Even if she was serious, it's entertainment and Rosie is a bit "off the wall".

I think she has really added something very good to that show.

It's still sick and she has to know that people take T.V. serious, especially that kind of show.

I don't like her and her giant head. It looks like the "Bob's Big Boy" character's head.

have you ever thought about the isrealites beginning to enter the promised land and how they then had to turn back and wander in the wilderness for 40 years?

have you ever wondered if there is a modern day parallel in our time?

perhaps 75 was our approach to that promised land that we then had to turn back from and "wander"... .

They'll say, "The word 'Earth' was meant to mean our immediate area. This would include all we can see in our surroundings. We know that Mars is visible to us and always was. So when the Bible says 'All nations' would we not conclude that every nation was taken into consideration, even foreign? This proves the wisdom of Jesus since he knew of the coming of nations, here and abroad. (WAY abroad!-ha ha) Let us thank our wonderful creator for giving us our food at the proper time."
