I know the guy who wrote the "children" one, and one of the baptism, (or was it paradise) songs, but I wouldn't his name on a public DB.

Kingdom Melodies songwriters - Who wrote which songs?
by Black Man inso can we get a directory going of who wrote various kingdom melodies songs?
i know frank kavelin (who has happily since left the cult) had a hand in writing "make the truth your own," and "make sure of the more important things.
" but who were some of the writers that penned the rest of the tunes?.

Notorious A**hole Christopher Hitchens Thrown Into The Eternal Flames Of Gehenna
by Philadelphia Ponos inthe first time i heard of christopher hitchens was today when his named was mentioned multiple times in the comment section of a youtube video.
after reading a brief summary of his life, it became clear that this guy was a complete douche-bag.
a very arrogant sarcastic bigoted f**k who looked down on everyone who didn't share his beliefs.

Unlike the dead monkey Christopher Hitches, I actually have the oppurtunity of being resurrected.
Awesome!!! Please come back and let us know how that worked out for you! We'll be right here waiting....

Did anybody see the "Two and a half Men" episode last Monday. (Really, the first time I've watched it since Ashton.) There was a reference to being so mad he"beat up a Jehovah's Witness." Then Alan, said something like, "then again, who could blame him" or something like that.
Then I believe they revisited the joke in last scene. I tried to find the clip to post but did not.
Anyhoo...these negative references couldn't have happened to a nicer cult.

When Your Adolescent Questions Your Faith
by wha happened? inhas anyone seen this article in the feb 1st 2012 wt?.
it's worth a look.
lots of references to christians, rather than jw's.

Well THAT's a big fat lie.
I tell everybody who will listen that JW's do not allow you to change your mind and you will be shunned by your parents and friends if you do.

LWT. I didn't think of that. But you do have to think the opposite of what you are seeing.
undercover. They did give Saul some mysterious moments Sunday..."looks" etc. that made me think "uh oh."
I thought Dane's acting was extraordinary Sunday. I felt so bad for her at the end of the show...wow. Don't have emotion for a TV character! That was painful to watch.

Some new Dylan for BOTR, every bit as good as the old...just not folk. Words are great.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZgBhyU4IvQ&feature=relmfu Love this one. Can't find some of the others. The live versions are recorded on someone's phone. Will keep looking. The latest album is really good...sort of jazzy rockabilly.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TbmP2vXeQs&feature=related The great east LA band Los Lobos on this...love it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij6BjS3VqwE&feature=related Boots of Spanish Leather...the words kill me. Cute live version and they have the lyrics in the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwSZvHqf9qM&ob=av2e Tangled up in Blue...what a story, you feel every phrase. Every song on this album to me is just great.
A few months ago I bought another 4-5 CD's I didn't have...went a little crazy on half.com. I just checked and I have 25 Dylan cd's on my iPod. Like me some Bob.

"Like a Rolling Stone" my memory is summer afternoon at the community swimming pool in Ojai. They played the local AM radio station KACY(Ventura I think) over the loud speaker...it was cool because it was the only radio station we had, and EVERYBODY in Ventura Co listened to it. So if you dedicated a song to someone...EVERYBODY knew it. I digress)
It was a perfect day, even for a 9 yr old. I remember the moment vividly.

Saw him with designs and friends with Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell. He had just won grammy and was in a very playful mood, and was excellent. I think this was maybe 10 years ago...dunno, I think the "Time Out of Mind" album. Great album and I think his recent stuff is every bit as good as the early stuff. The music is more rockabilly...the last one is with Los Lobos...I think it's great.
I saw him again 3 years ago or so, and he wasn't as animated or engaging...and was more on the muffled side, but the music was great...
