  eight years ago before simon changed over to this site, i was known as blueblades.

  i mentioned back then 7/21/03 that i was diagnosed as having a narrow aortic valve.

  well, the time has come to update all my friends back then and now.

  as i've mentioned before, your contribution in the dateline program was it for me and the wbts.

  i listened to almost the whole program last night and your insights are much appreciated.. my question is do we know how many settlements the wbts has made in the area of child abuse?

  there are 1000's who who hate this religion who are stuck ....inside it.

  we work against you, we use our position to convince and sway those that still drink your koolaid.

  we feed info to authorities who chase you, we warn off potiential converts by directing them to the real truth.

  Wonderful letter elderelite.

  I've always said, nothing will make an impact unless the servants and full timers take a stand. The "publishers" (TM) mean nothing to them except a means to an end. Not that they will change their ways, but if they don't have anybody to take the lead in their bidding...they will lose a tremendous amount of control, IMO.

  Thank you Barbara.

  My blood runs cold with this. The WBTS think they are special, they teach their devotees to think they are special, yet they are no different from other organizations they vilify in terms of problems and coverup of those problems. Maybe they are different because they are among the slow group in bringing about any changes.

  for years the wt has bragged that there is no clery/laity distinction among jehovah's witnesses.

  now this attorney refers to kendrick as just a "rank and file"--he's not a pastor or elder--like that should make a difference?.

  Before the elder arrangement was formed in the early '70s, IMO, that was true, more or less. But with the current arrangement, there definitely are levels/classes/distinctions.

  @ Binadub: No, I never was on Channel C, but I sure read it when I left JW in 2001. I think there was a "room" that a few of us were in, and I think I remember "Libby" was the name of the person I posted with for awhile. I believe she returned, she said she needed the structure.

  Thank you for your efforts in providing these sites for people to be able to come and express themselves and work through the issues of life after WBTS.

  i work at a very recognizable company (hint they are the father (mother?

  ) of the tla).

  as one of the rank and file at that company i can say even my direct manager has no clue what my job is like on a day to day basis.

  IMHO, they don't care one bit about the R & F. Name one thing they have done for them. They are takers. What they do care about is the control over them.
