  POST-JW: How many have returned to school/college/university?

  i know that this question has been asked before, but there are newer members on the forum, and as a nice diversion, i thought i'd post this question:

  since many of us are now no longer jehovah's witnesses, how many of you returned to post-secondary education?

  in some cases, i know some quit high school, so if you have returned there, it'd be interesting to hear your stories.

  I am currently finishing up my first year of obtaining my Bsc in Nursing at the University of Alberta. For someone who never finished high school (actually I was expelled 2 yrs in a row) I would have never dreamed in a million years that I would actually be attending university. Somedays I still can't believe it. I may have started 10 years afetr most of my friends, but I always say better late than never.

  Remember...it is NEVER too late to pursue your dreams!!! I know so many people who have been out of school for many many years, and they have gone back...and they are very successful at it. Sometimes dreams are all you have, and you just have to chase them sometimes.

  I'm so sorry that you are being put through this.

  Certainly it is only a coward that would be so bold as to rat out someone. Do you know what they do to rats in prison??? I'm sure that you are wishing this person were in prison now huh...

  Anyway enough of my revenge talk...Eric you will pull through this and you moving on and joining the armed forces is showing that you have a life and you are not afraid to live it! Good for YOU!!

  That is the cutest thing!!!!! Kinda reminds me of when I was 5 or 6 and I used to sleep with my granma and granpa...I really miss them now, but my Granma would tell me bedtime stories or let me read to her...

  i just had to share this experience.

  thunder and i went shopping at a store called "tuesday morning" for a new bedspread (we wore the other out)lol .

  it's a high end discount place we were looking at bedspreads normally $500.00 etc for around $100.00 all of a sudden on the top shelf he saw one and said "sheila what about this one , it haas snaug" (this is said like it's a german brand or something.
