  Where was the last assembly you attended?

  we last went to one in 2006 - it was the channel islands.

  can't remember whether it was jersey or guernsey as they alternate, have been to both as we went to the channel islands in 2005 too.

  What if JWs are right?!?

  i know this is a pointless question, but what if this happened:.

  you came home from work one day, sat down, and turned on the tv.

  there is a sudden announcement that the un has banned all religion.

  If religion is ever banned by the UN or powers that be, the Jehovahs witnesses will not be the only one ignoring the ban.

  sure i get frustrated when i have to explain for the bajillionth time just why atheism is not a belief or why it is possible to know some things with 100% certainty but despite all the exasperations i still count it as one of the rewards of freeing my mind and exiting the wt that i can argue so endlessly and freely.. even if some of you do get on my tits sometimes .

  The reason I come up with is we are God and we wanted to have human experiences.

  Nothings going on in heaven this is where all the action is.

  You have your main gods, your demigods and then us lowly pawns.

  You know how a pawn works in a chess game.

  All these comments make me think one of 2 possibilities.

  1 we are in some kind of computerized matrix and our stress and problems is genertating energy for someone.

  or

  2 on a kinder level, we are god and we sent ourselves to an amusement park to scare the crap out of our selves and

  to entertain ourselves.

  If we are God thats the only way I can see justifying the evil scarry things that happen here.

  When we die and come off the ride, we say wow! what a trip.

  I just finished reading the Van Halen Saga. I like them both Van Hagar and VAn Halen.

  I think Roth was better by himself, I love the skyscrapper album.

  Roth and Vai was better than Roth and VAn Halen.

  But that my opinion not the masses.

  the title pretty much says it all.. it's true that there are many classics that simply can't be topped but it doesn't stop people from trying anyway.

  What's the use of prayer?

  all these years (especially during my adolesence) i have been praying to that christian god (jehovah,yhwh,god,him,yahweh,jah,almighty) but he has never answered a single prayer of mine.i have lived up to his standards wholeheartedly and with zeal and he spits me in the face every day.he left me when i encountered hardships or even minor difficulties even though i gave my full pottential to worship him.i got fed up with his lies and mistruths and my patience has abandoned me.now it's time for me to turn my back on him in return..
