If we are supposed to do what God says in the Bible, here's my question...

WHY CAN'T WE JUST READ IT FOR OURSELVES IN THE BIBLE AND BE LEFT THE F--K ALONE?

If I read the Bible, understand God's commandments and try to keep them as best and sincerely as I can, what makes me different than a JW? Preaching? Where the f--k does God say in the Bible that we have to go preaching? I don't want to know what Jesus said because he's dead and he created NOTHING. Where does God say we have to go preaching? If he didn't command it, I'm not doing it.

I don't mean to sound irate but I really want the WTS to disappear.

Thanks to the person who scanned the book. Once again, the WTS hijacks the Hebrew scriptures and twists everything in their favor. If the JWs believe they have the 'true' religion, why do they use the stories of Jews from ancient times? After all, aren't the Jews condemned or doomed to destruction for rejecting Jesus? Why use moral examples from people who God has rejected to represent him on earth? Why not use examples of real JWs?

I've read that the WT numbers in the U.S. have dropped over the past 10 years. I think the internet is exposing alot of the WTs oddities.

If you didn't create yourself, then you were created. If you were created there is a creator. This simple logic cannot be broken in any way.

Consider this, the simplest watch is made of several hundred parts. Take each of these parts, throw them in the air, let them hit the ground and start counting the days before they join to make a watch. How long do you think you'll be waiting?

If a watch can't make itself regardless of how many billions of years you wait, how is it possble that TRILLIONS of cells came together to form the MILLIONS of life forms we see today? Do you think this just happened?

Whether we want to deal with it or not, we were created and we have a creator to answer to, period.

How Do You Read The Bible?

i wanted to get your opinions on the bible, particularly the differences between the old and new testament.

now, i am not a biblical scholar, and i don't presume to possess more knowledge than anyone else, i would just like to hear what everyone else believes.

The Hebrew scriptures as shown in the Torah are the only accurate and valid teachings of our Creator. Everything in the so-called New Testament is a fabrication and meaningless. If anything, it promotes idolatry by teaching that God NEEDED another being (Jesus) to help rescue the world. This is absurd. God does not NEED ANOTHER CREATION of his to rescue the world from sin.

What the hell is the WTS saying about evolution now?

did anyone read the recent wts "special article" about creation and evolution?

i read it and fell of my freaking seat.

get this, the wts now believes (and yes, they want everyone to agree or else) that god created the universe billions of years ago and that nothing was created in six days as shown in genesis!.

Did anyone read the recent WTS "special article" about creation and evolution? I read it and fell of my freaking seat. Get this, the WTS now believes (and yes, they want everyone to agree or else) that God created the universe BILLIONS of years ago AND that NOTHING WAS CREATED IN SIX DAYS AS SHOWN IN GENESIS!

They spent about 5 pages explaining how the the Bible can agree with scientist theories that the earth is in fact, billions of years old. It's blasphemy of the highest order and now more than ever, I'm glad I left that foul, dirty religion.

Who are we to say that God COULD NOT create the universe in six days? Isn't so that God CREATED THE CONCEPT OF TIME? If this is the case, how can we limit him by saying that he could not have created everything we see (and don't see) in just a matter of days? Why then, would God ask the Israelites to observe the Sabbath if not for this reason?

God is all-powerful and without limit. Be sure that the days of the WTS are numbered.

they have transformed their key belief into a cartoon type kiddies scene.

is there no thought of child safety?

Here's my question. Doesn't Jesus or the WTS say that there will be no MARRIAGE in paradise? Isn't it so that death ends marriage? So what if you died before Armageddon and your family is still alive? Who's gonna be walking along the beach in this scenario?

What if everyone in the family died? Is everyone going to be together at the beach as a family or what?

If I remember correctly, there isn't going to be any baby-making in paradise because it's supposed to take 1000 years to get things back into order (collapsed buildings take forever to clean up you know).

Are there any trolls here who can clarify this?

Jews for Jesus VS. JWs - Which one is closer to the 'truth'?

here's my question, which organization do you think follows the teachings of christ more accurately, jews for jesus or the jws?.

after all, jesus did live and die as a jew not a christian.

james, the brother of jesus carried the congregation immediately after his brother's death and he too, lived and died as a jew (even though he was killed by other jews who considered him a blasphemer).

It's not until we get to Paul that things change and the Jesus movement falls under the control of the gentiles.

Given all this, if the Jews for Jesus movement is following the Bible in the same manner as James, wouldn't that make them more worthy of the "true religion" title that the JWs claim to hold?

Paul's "full gospel" did NOT mention 144,000...

from reflecting on what paul writes in his letters, it is obvious he had never taught anything like the wts doctrines concerning the little flock (144,000) or the slave class, or any other unique jw gospel concept.

yet he was clear that he was preaching the entire gospel everywhere.. i picked out the following verses (you can find more but these are the most obvious) to show that 1) paul said his authority for the gospel he preached was given by god; 2) that he preached the gospel fully; and that he condemned any person or angel who preached a different gospel.

have you ever noticed, then, that though paul clarified the gospel in all of his letters in a variety of ways, the odd doctrines of the jws/wts were never once mentioned by paul?

I agree, I went a little off-topic. I do agree with your statement. The WTS is adding alot of their own spin to what Paul wrote.
