  i have been noticing a lot of post lately about people using their standings in or out of the congregation to help other's or to make their family situation easier(auldsoul and drew sagen just as an example).

  it got me to thinking about my moniker and what it represents.

  the sith move in secrecy and darkness.

  how would you describe spacecraft, extraterrestrial beings and futuristic weapons and technology if you could only use a non technical language like that of the ancient jews?

  I am amazed where are all the naysayers? Why have they not called you ever thing but sane?

  I think that aliens came down and took their DNA and produced us. I have read several ancients books that have been translated into English that are much older than the bible. I can see by how the ancients talked they were not talking about the Angels as see them but Space Aliens. There is much information found recently that shows how smart the Babylonians actually were. Way beyond what I think is possible with out outside influence from an advanced race.

  Now we well see the naysayer come out of hiding and slam me for what I think.

  The Science of Belief

  time and again the refrain is heard that belief and science are mutually exclusive, that belief somehow corrupts good science, that belief is not empirical.

  i'd like to throw another slant on that, if i may.. belief is an inherent part of the human psyche.

  the desire to know more about our environment and how it all works is also an inherent part of our psyche.

  LittleToe I believe the mind is an amazing thing. I believe that if one can convince himself that something will help then it helps. I take Cheyanne pepper I believe it helps me, so it does. My knee was hurting about 10 years ago, I thought I would not be able to walk by now so I took Glucosamine at high dosages and it totally helped me. I have been pain free for years, until about a year ago. I am about to do it again that is take the Glucosamine. I believe it will help so more than likely it will help me.

  I posted in one of your threads faith always trumps proof. I am no different. A study might come along and prove it was only my faith in the two treatments that helped me and Cheyenne Pepper and Glucosamine does not really help, But the effect on me personally is it did. Once a study proves too me it does not work, then from the time on, it will not work because I would know it was my mind playing tricks on me.

  I am open minded enough to admit this. I hope science proves that we do not need to take expensive drugs and that homeopathic remedies really work. If my life depended on a cure I would go to a DR. and use proven cures. I once wrote the library of Congress and got the % of people that go to the Hopsice clinics in Tijuana Verses normal proven cures and found that you have a better % of living IF YOU DO BOTH. I think at Mexico they treat the whole person and in the US normally they only treat the disease. This is the same for religion if you believe in it then it effects you deep down and faith trumps proof The best thing for a believer to do is not look at the proof against his religion becasue when you do it destroys the inner person. One might find himself sitting at the computer typing to a total stranger.

  I do not want to hijack his thread so I will not do so. All I am saying look at the evidence and then decide if you want to believe Jesus was not a very creative thinker. Belief in Jesus the way the bible says it is exactly that belief, not fact, Belief Always trumps Facts.

  You are right not mirror image but non the less other God Men did it first. Yes not every one of them did all the things that is credited to Jesus. But everything Jesus did was done by one of them. Explain that. I think I would have done other miracles, I would been original and not be so dumb as to have too copy Pagan God Men miracles. Like have fourteen apostles, turn pee into wine at a anniversary party etc.

  Have you ever looked at the evidence of other Christs (Man Gods) that lived before Jesus? Did you know other Man Gods lived and Jesus life was a mirror image of these Man Gods? Other Man GOds lived; Born of Virgin, Born in a manger or Cow Shed, Turned water into wine at a wedding feast, had twelve apostles, Died on a cross or Tree, Broke bread and drink wine for remembrance with his apostles before execution, raised on the third day, and is to come again too judge the world.

  There were many God men that did exactly what the bible said Jesus Christ did. Why would GOD or his SON mimic Pagan God Men? I think if the Bible story is true he would not had too mimick Pagan God Men.

  I have done lots of studying on this subject and the Bible is not a reliable history of Jesus.
