so a few months ago i got the 'you're disowned' email from my parents, and i thought that it was all over for any kind of ongoing relationship with them.

i'd planned this visit to see them (i live on the east coast of australia, they're a five-hour flight away), but a few months ago they told me they won't see me when i'm here.

i have non-jw family and friends here though who i love a lot, and i have spent some nice times with them, and shown mr frass around my old haunts.

we had a young retarded kid in our cong , who had his hand up for every single question , usually the bro would take his comment as he would just say "jehovah" but this time he takes the mic and starts this long winded comment rounded off with"satans going to cause a civil war!

there were about 20 ex-jw's there just bashing the watchtower society for 2 hours.

i had all i could take and left.

Dont be like that , we are doing a life saving work as well , saving people from this dangerous , murderous cult, we need all the strength and energy we can get .And by venting at certain times this can only help

We had a road in the territory not worked much ,so me and this elder brilliant in F/S had an answer for anything, so we came to this big house at the end of the road and there seemed to be loads of people in the house when a guy opened the door. Well after about 15 mins of the usual presentation he says that this house is a house only for born again christians but they were all Indian , strange, so we got on the usual ping pong with the trinity etc, and after about half an hour he looked straight at me and said "I will pray for you" .Well I never forgot that comment and after that it was slowly down hill for me in the wts, he's prayer was answered never really got into evangelcal chrisianity, but I never forgot that day.

some of you may remember my mom was diagnosed with a rare disease that shrinks the brain.

(corticobasildegeneration) how i remember that is beyond me!

anyway, since she was diagnosed, they started out by taking her licence away about 3 years ago.
