I agree that sites like this one are doing a very good job at toppling the Tower. It may not get to the hardcore believers but once they want to get out and to learn some personal experiences from past members, or even get some good links to help them on their way, they will go to places like this.

CityFan- My wife is of the same mold as your mother. Why try to refute any of the claims in the Watchtower, after all they are far more intelligent that anybody else.
The next thing that he should look into is the mathematical correctness of pi in the bible. Maybe he can prove that it really does equal 3 as it is mentioned.

SEX talks at the sunday meetings
by wannaexit inthe last little while there have been many talks on sex at the sunday meetings.
it is sickening!
they are very explicit in nature.. don't they realize that there are many children in the audience that are not really ready to hear this particular information?.

The really hardcore take in these talks as if given by god himself. I never could understand why people need to be moderated on these subjects. As was earlier said, if we weren?t told about all of this stuff, then bestiality might be considered all right for us. Reminds me of those silly warning stickers on some items, ?Inserting your finger in power outlet might cause injury?.

How to fill out welfare cards for all pioneers. How to act like a superintendent while washing windows for all elders. How to live off of others for all CO?s. Cleaning toilets for all elderly that thought the end was just around the corner and they never planned for retirement.

Elsewhere said- the governing body will do the "Perp-Walk" in handcuffs on CNN regarding certain charges related to cover-ups of sexual abuse. This cracks me up.
I predict that they will cook the books some more to show more activity and a marginal growth.
We will see fewer kingdom halls that will be explained as ?reorganization?.
I would like to see another documentary or two on cover-ups. Might happen, might not.
Another trial would be nice, and maybe a good public loss.
More new light, got to love it. Maybe on mandatory donations or respecting all elders.
What will happen- business as usual.

125,725 JW Publishers are MISSING !!!

the watchtower society makes it appear that they grew 2.2% (which is lower than some of their earlier percentages) ... but the way they present the data, does not reveal the truth.

the memorial attendance is lower than I had thought. this is one of the best counts that I can think of that they hold. It does show some of the inactive and DF'd but it does show a bad sign.

the increase in memorial attendance is only 1.8% from last year. I think that some of the other numbers might be tweaked a little to show better results, and I think that Japan's numbers have realy been messed with.

Field Service Hours
by Mystery inmy "jw" family came down for the "thanksgiving" holiday.
my mom & sister - my sisters family - my full time pioneer niece (17 years old).
we were sitting around playing cards and my niece was writing letters inbetween deals.

My hours would start when I got into the car to go to the Hall and would not end until I got back home, unless I went shopping or had errands that where not acomplished while I was out in field service. It is amazing how many bills can be paid while you are out. My idea was that I would not be going out unless I was in field service, so every minute was billable.
this one is too funny.
And who could possibly forget....stop at garage sales! Of course, you'll want to drop a tract on a table or at least say something to the householder. But then again, your fine dress and conduct in itself is a witness, is it not?
