i know we are all anonymous for our own personal reasons, so i understand if you would rather not say.
but if you don't mind sharing that would be cool.
i currently live in georgia, usa.

thought she was gonna take a pic of me on the sneak.
im df'd...been df'd for over 19 years already.
so she probably would have gotten away with it without anyone knowing.....except that her flash was on.
I cant speak to anybody, but really wanted to tell her it was ok.
Wrong, just so you know, You are free to speak to anybody. They are supposed to shun you.
so bethelites are being decreased...bethel homes even sold off.... special pioneers no longer being funded.. magazines getting smaller and published less frequently.. building work stopping or being reduced.. no large conventions and renting of venues.. etc.... so, money is not coming in anymore to cover the "expenses"??.
didnt the first ever watchtower said that when this occurs, it would be evidence of god no longer blessing the activity....
oh, and throughout the years, we have constantly been told that the "growth of the org and the projects such as buildings and contributions" etc were evidence of gods blessing.... .
There's always a way to spin it. How about this?---
Jehovah's organization is faithful, but so many members are not as spiritual as they should be and are not seeking the kingdom first, yet Jehovah's organization is doing awesome with the reduced amount these members are contributing.
That and Satan is really putting the pressure on now, so he knows how the end is so so so so imminent. Just hang on a few more years at the most and don't let these things discourage you. That's what Satan wants.
lots of great potential to help those sp that are being sent off without any financial help from the wtbts.
i think that it would be a great way to get some exposure on this topic and how the wtbts thats those that dedicated their lives to the wtbts only to be sent packing at a late age.
then someone can take the funds to one sp couple, possibly, and give it to them in honor of the apostates that know what is really happening.
What you say?
Go get a job and fake your pioneer hours. That's what I say.
it's for all the laid off bethelites!
see jehovah provides!
recently at a funeral for an active jw, death was sudden and tragic.
was surprised that that one of the disfellowshipped children of the deceased was comforted by the jw's at the funeral.
i would say the majority hugged and said a few short words to the disfellowshipped child on the recieving line to comfort the family.
Shunning is supposed to happen there also, but because WTS often declares that they don't demand it but that members choose to shun (not true, BTW) and because humans often let their true feelings show at a funeral even when they are supposed to obey cult leaders, Jehovah's Witnesses often refrain from any serious conversations but give a brief mention of condolences and a hug.
Elders often give in too, and (as far as other JW's) would really have to be total A-holes to try to insist that members would shun at such a time and place- but some do.
grew up in east la in a bad neighborhood to a black mother and white father.
i never knew my father because he died in a car accident when i was a few weeks old.
my mother converted as a jw soon after when two sisters came to her door and offered her comfort, which was something she needed.
Wow, I feel for you. My experience is kind of opposite to yours. I was at rock bottom when I became a JW as an adult (but had childhood exposure and a JW mother).
I can say this. JW'S interfered in my getting the help I needed at a critical time. They sidetracked that for 2 decades. That's what they did to you. Your opportunity was there and they took it away.
You will have to recover and move on. You may still need professional counseling over the molestation issue as it seems you never dealt with that. As far as the career goes, you can get back in the game somehow, probably with much more difficulty. But you should at least consider that.
Thanks for sharing your story. I look forward to hearing more from you.
so a recent study says processed meats are just as dangerous as cigarettes when it comes to cancer.
the wtbs has had a long time stance that smoking is a df offense.
my question is if there's proof beyond doubt, why doesn't the wtbs make eating processed meats a df offense?.
If you stop eating processed meats you will still die.
If you are concerned, eat less processed meats.
i wanna make a poll here.
how many years do you think the jdub cult will exist as is and what will happen to it?.
i say the growth stops this year and starts to decline.
"I say the growth stops this year and starts to decline. I give it 10 years before the numbers are cut in half, that means 4 million publishers and in 15 years there will not be anymore JDub org. "
Watchtower will not be around forever. As to your prediction above, I tend to go along with the growth part and say they may have already peaked and are using manipulated numbers (not necessarily lies, but inaccuracies based on little slips of paper from congregations around the world turned in all at once to raise 'peak' numbers). I can even sort of go along with your 10-years thought to cut numbers in half- give or take. The members are mostly over 40 years old, much higher on the over-70 crowd. Their only growth is in small percentages of children of JW's.
I don't go along with them being gone 5 years after that, or even slightly longer. As Watchtower shrinks to 2 or even 1 million members, they will adapt. They will retain and recruit enough to stay alive for some more time. But I hope I am wrong.
can you truly love someone if you dont fully trust them and you are not willing to confide in them?
true love is a two way street right?
i just listened to the 2015 agm broadcast.
I am careful not to use such a line of thought with my JW family, because I know the standard answer. That answer is that parents love their teenaged children but don't trust them to be adults. They put restrictions on them and monitor many aspects of their lives.
They try to paint that picture of Jehovah, and they try to paint a similar one of themselves.
