  WT 15th April apostates / new light on miscarriages

  study articles have strong counsel against apostates - modern day apostates display characteristics similar to those of the devil.

  their mind may be poisoned by a critical attitude towards individuals in the congregations , christian elders or the governing body.

  some apostates oppose the use of the divine name , jehovah.

  Dozy, do you have scans of the QFR you are referring to. Miscarriages is a tender subject for me. Mrs Smith and I went through that torture twice. A few sisters in the congregation rallied around Mrs Smith when it happened the second time.
  
  At the time I was too numb to react or realise that nobody seem to know where my child is. Also the few sisters that came to visit Mrs Smith had all experienced the same thing and could sympathise. I must thank them for that, but they had nothing reasuring to say, and neither had the society. We were left to fend for ourselves.

  It took years before I dealt with that pain. No council was forthcoming from the elders, no hope extended for our unborn children. Until today it never occurred to me to check what the Borg had printed about that.....

  as i mentioned on another thread , it was very uncommon to ever get any commendation or recognition for any " good" accomplishments i ever did.

  you know the jesus expression, " we are good for nothing slaves- what we have done is what we ought to have done.

  Yes. Gung ho elder, I had to be the good example. He was away a lot with the congregation responsibilities. Countless times we had to wait after the Service meeting while the elders have another meeting in the side hall. Disciplinarian, yes. Spanking, plenty.

  Relationship has been strained for many years, and since December, after he accused me of apostasy, no communication at all.

  I did get on better with mom, since she seemed more 'balanced' and was at home with us.

  My youth was not bad. But I had an almost absent father. However my relationship with my own son is very different. I MAKE the time to speak to him, be interested in his life. No stupid rules, and he will study further. I told him I would go into debt, but he will go to university.

  Sorry that you have to go through this as well Newborn, Mrs Smith and I was shunned since December. Very hurtfull when your family, flesh and blood would do this to you. All I can say is, hang in there.

  You have lots of support right here.I lost family to the Borg, but I have made lots more friends, "that stick closer than a brother"

  i had just left the supermarket.

  i was walking to my car and as i opened the door one of my bags broke and a couple of tins fell out.. as i bent down to pick them up, a voice said "hello truthseeker".

  startled, i looked up and saw two elders dressed in dark suits.

  Mmmm good point. The Agent's can use anyone and everyone that is still plugged into the system. So... maybe they did not see you leave the store themselves, but another 'plugged in' member saw you and reported.

  The plot thickens.... If they did follow you, then these two guys are really gung-ho about culling the sheep that are lost.

  How Many Sit on the Fence?

  i was checking out another topic and pulled off something that wobble said.. given that - how many of you would go back if the wts decided to enact shunning for everybody who was not active?

  if tomorrow they decided that da'ing or fading or in simple terms, being inactive for any reason whatsoever, was a shunning offense - how many would start going back immediately just so their family wouldn't be cut off?

  how many would not go back and would instead would be willing to stand firm on their belief that the wts is wrong in what they teach?

  Truthseeker, that is not cool of them. My feeling is that they were just at the right place at the right time. And you happened to be in the wrong place...

  Agent Smith: I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it.

  Now now, Noah must have brought along a block of nice soft pine just for the boreworms. He had years to collect the worms, two of every kind, and the block of tasty soft pine had to last about one year. Boreworms don't eat to much, so the block did not take up much space.

  He had to keep the birds away from them in case they get eaten.

  Why did noah bring the Mosqitoes and flies along? Huh?
