were friendships in other congregations discouraged?
by hoser ini had a good friend with a lot of common interests but he was in a congregation about 40 miles away.
we did a lot together with both of our families.
until we had a local needs part about association with ones not in our own congregation.

Quite the opposite here and the ones I have been to. Maybe they had a flight problem I knew of some brothers running from hall to hall trying to flee being dfed while banging the new sisters they met on the run.

The strange thing is that I was agreeing with Adoph for the first 100 pages. My interest was what personal experiences led to his antiSemitism.
That is a lesson of politics Hilter probally didn't give a damn about Jews either way (in fact one of his friends turned out to be a Jew and he pardoned him from death he still went to a work camp to keep up apearances) but Europeans hated them and wanted them gone. Hitler knew this so he tried to give them what they wanted, a Europe without Jews. If you notice countries that Germany invaded almost overnight handed over their jews with no fight in fact went out of there way to hand them over to the death squads, sometimes not even waiting for the Germans to ask, sometimes taking on themselves to kill them.
That is why a lot of jews left Europe even after the war was over. They knew they weren't going to be welcome back home.

Why would anyone want to read that crap book?
Those who forget history are doome to repeat it. Most banned books should be required reading. They are dangerous which is why they need to be read and criticized. Mein Kampf, The Communist Manifesto, and Atlas Shrugged should be read by all and then criticized.

WTS is ADVERTISING in local newspapers
by still thinking ini just opened our local paper to discover a half page add on the front page for jehovahs witnesses... more to be read on page 4 and 5 where there are two half page articles.
that must have cost them.. they are obviously trying to soothe the public into thinking that jws are harmless...let them into your homes.

Aucklands housing crisis would be solved with JWs on the case.
They need to be warned about how bad those things are. They pretty much had to tear down one not to far from wear I lived it was slowly falling down the hillside they were advised not build on unless they did a lot of reinforcement work first. Then add on to that the one that need a remodel shortly after it was finished due cracking in the walls and other things that popped up because of shoddy work.
Then our hall had huge cost over runs becuase someone didn't bother to find what was the proper strength for it's foundation.

why, because the nature of ethical standing.
is facing the effects you have caused and owning up.. there is no need to explain the difference between saying you apologize as a token gesture when faced with someone you've harmed and.

Do you think Jesus WANTED to be turned into a religion?
by humbled instuff that has happened to me and people of other religions that i've met and read about--it makes me wonder if the caretakers of "holy writings" haven't bent us with their theology and pedantry.. i don't think jesus wanted us to make a religion.. he offered an experience of faith that was first and foremost an invitation.
the gospels--even if half diluted with error can't dispel the experiences we feel if we accept these words at face value: john 7:17-18.. i can't stay on- going to doctors today.. thanks.
