Un-covering is what the word really means in greek. I no longer long think of the Apocalypse as the death of six billion people but the uncovering of the truth about what is really going on. So in a metaphoric sence I have been through it already.

who has actually read the entire Bible?
by losingit inno matter how many times i've tried, i just couldn't get through the whole thing.
you know, there were always those reminders to read the bible, have a personal study, go out in service, and.... the other two of the five things we were supposed to do i already forgot.
so, i constantly felt guilty that i just had no interest.

The more I talk with my Therapist about my life as a JW the more I see her gasp in shock. I would say that is the most disturbing part. She has probally dealt with war vets yet my stories still shock her.

by Apognophos inhow do you guys feel about someone who gets an idea in his head that we want to hear the same phrase, often a nonsensical one, repeated in a dozen or more threads which may not have anything to do with the phrase in question?
it seems to me that we already have a rule, #5, about this..

Were organ transplants ever forbidden?
by stillstuckcruz inas an apostate, i'm currently compiling a list of changed doctrines and "new light" changes over the years.
this is mainly for discussing with witnesses in the future.
i feel if i don't present full truth of their own doctrine, they will knock me down and rightfully say that i did not give full infomation(hypocrites much?).

This is what turn me against the blood ban. Whe I found how the just dropped the organ ban with much of a word and no apology it made me wonder why the ban on blood was any diffrent.

Anonymous vs WT: sooo, was that just a big ole hoax???
by grumblecakes inso gosh like at least 6 months ago i think i was perusing jw survey and saw rhe anonymous targeting the wt video and thought "sweet!!!
" ...so i googled it, and nothing came up but the actual you tube video and the thing on jw survey (i posted a comment on jw survey asking about it but nobody repied.... so since it was never spoken of again i guess it was a ho-ax?
just one dude make a fake vidoe and anonymous was never really after the wt?

The big problem is "Anonymous" is not really an organization but more of a meme. So yeah a group of people that identify with the meme "Anonymous" are working on it. That is how Anonymous survives despite all atempts to destroy it, so don't knock to much but it does lead to some broken promises or at least slow to fulfill ones.

For lurkers and newbies who think Jehovah`s Witnesses are better people than most
by smiddy inwhy dont you look up on the internet crimes comitted by jehovah`s witnesses , i think you will be very surprised.the majority of cases are comitted by dedicated baptised witnesses , not newly interested ones that you can excuse away.and the crimes range from anything minor to outright murder .. and remember ,jehovahs witnesses are only a minority religion and yet crimes comitted by them far outstrip the national average.. i`m sorry i cant put up the links .i`d appreciate it if someone can .thanks heaps.. smiddy.

That is one of the thing I have to keep reminding myself both ways they are no better and no worse than anyone else. Still doesn't change my mind about wanting nothing to do with them anymore.
