The Gospels according to Thomas, Jade, James, Peter, and the Gospel of the Hebrews, of the Egyptians, of Perfection, of Judas, of Thaddeus, of the Infancy, of the Preaching of Peter, of the Shepherd of Hermas, the Epistle of Barnabas, the Pastor of Hermas, the Revelation of Peter, the Revelation of Paul, the Epistle of Clement, the Epistle of Ignatius, the Gospel of Mary, the Gospel of Nicodemus and of Marcion were all not considered inspired (or inspired enough). They did not get voted in. There were also the Acts of Pilate, of Andrew, of Mary, of Paul and Thecla, and many others. If the bishops at the Council of Laodicea in 365 had voted differently, millions of Christians would have believed differently.
This begs the question; since Jehovah's Witnesses made their own translation of the Bible (The New World Translation), why did they accept the Bible canon as put together and voted on by Catholic Bishops and a Pagan emperor? It would only seem reasonable for them to make their own canon, and possibly include some of the missing books that were voted out by the Bishops. They highly tout the Dead Sea Scrolls as proving the bible had not changed, but you won't hear them mention that most of these missing books were also found in the cave with them.

WatchtowerÂ’s Gunpoint

The response of the WTBS to a problem is to shoot the wounded and carry on as if nothing happened.
Thats a very good point JeffT
In today's modern day society, the thinking now is to surround people who are in trouble and help them recover
or adjust their behavior, not to totally avoid them or shun them as it were.
There is a backwards ignorant precedent being instituted by the WTS. in this regard.

The WTS. has one single agenda and that is to lure and coerce people toward the organization so that they can be manipulated and exploited
into the further distributing the organization's published works. Its quite obvious the JWs are not preaching the bible's gospel but they're
preaching the Watchtower Corporation's gospel, the two are indifferent to one another.
Under a guise of keeping their organization clean they've instilled its own disciplinary policy, not modeled after the instructional teaching in
the bible but on their own impressing agenda. In other words, going beyond what it written in the bible.
The consequences of this DFing policy have been truly damaging on a individual personal level for many, driving some to commit suicide,
destroying families apart and so on. They simple and apathetically don't care as long as their organization remains strong, intact and in power.
In this sense the WTS. does have familiarity with sociopathcal behavior in its structured operations and its interactions with people.

Some apostates are sociopaths
by myusername inthat is a controversial title to this post.
i think most apostates are kind-hearted people who want to warn others about this organization and help others get out of it.
however, some jws are sociopaths.

Some JWS are sociopaths , I've known a few !
Profile of the Sociopath
Glibness and Superficial Charm
- Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims. - Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right." - Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests. - Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way. - Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises. - Incapacity for Love
- Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common. - Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them. - Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others. - Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc. - Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
- Manipulative and Conning

Give Some Logical Points To Prove That JWs Do Not Have The Truth
by minimus inthe one thing that got to me was that this religion is illogical.
their "logic" is ridiculous, especially when it comes to their blood doctrine.
downright weird!.

The most pointedly obvious answer to this question can easily be answered in the fact that the WTS. is a corrupt misleading religious
organization of charlatans, who created doctrines to attract attention of the public to its published literature and to coerce people to further carry on
in its distribution. Within this organization manipulation, exploitation and coercion are clearly seen, as well as the corruption by men who
were endeavored toward self empowerment.

The gun is the SHUN: the JW's who no longer believe but cannot leave!
by Terry inthe insidious bind the watchtower religion places on their members is unconscionable.. holding family and friends "hostage" as an extortion strategy may be their most potent weapon of enforced conformity.. .
in effect, like an armed criminal who points a gun at you and threatens "your money or your life", the watchtower leadership.
holds the power to separate dissenting members from those whom they most cherish.

The WTS. organization only wants members who make the organization shine with purity and wholesome righteousness.
Thats mostly the reason for casting out sinners, its a form of image control presented outwardly to the public.
I've heard many JWS boast about their DF policy and how this endeavor keeps the organization and congregations truly clean.
Since this organization was started on platform of fraudulent pretentiousness , is it really that surprising that it would have in place
a set up shunning policy upon dissenters and opposers. ???

In a very defining way the WTS. are the ones described exactly in the bible, a n irony in itself.
The only difference one could easily see is that the WTS. is a commercialized false prophet, operating a publishing house.
Among the many others that are out there in the public.
