  the only meetings i'm going to now are the "fundamentalist anonymous" meetings.

  it's a 12 step program to get you out of the churches that say "are way or the highway" .......lol....o.k.

  for those who know a little about my past and my mother - she had the nerve to call me today and leave an urgent message for me to call her.

  i thought it was about my dad or that something bad had happened since her last comment to me was that i was dead to her, or something to that effect.

  I TOTALLY understand that! My husband is a audio nerd...and has all these "fabulous" features....However I cannot enjoy these things....or even make them work on my own.... so to me it is WORTHLESS!

  He says there is a remote control that he wants that would do away with all the others and it is so smart that all you have to do is hit a button to do what you want and it turns whatever needs on on. Costs about 100.00 though. I'll let you know sister!

  when my parents became hohos in 1974 in az, my mother preached the sh*t out of everyone, so that her catholic mother and sisters couldn't stand her.

  do any of you find it weird that a lot of the ex jw's here and at other sites are in there 30's??.

  it's like the jw's have lost a whole generation..

  I think it was due to the generation of 1914 being retracted. We spent a-lot of our childhood seeing people older who we loved and just "knowing" they'd still be around when the big A came. We didn't thing we'd reach the age of 30 TOPS before the end came. When the whole thing changed I think it made many of us take a look and say.....WAIT a minute here....Do I still have faith in what they tell us anymore???
