  Your View On BREASTFEEDING In Public

  last night on the news a woman was told by a store manager that she could not in public breastfeed her child.

  she and her husband were quite offended and complained to the company's main offices.

  they are now looking into this situation.. what's your opinion?

  Breastfeeding in publicIt's completely normal. north american society puts too much emphasis on breasts being sexual....makes people uncomfortable with seeing breasts uncovered it seems...

  In other parts of the world, breastfeeding is normal, breasts are normal, skin is normal, no one looks with horror or shock at seeing a nipple.

  IMHO, if mom or baby happens to show more skin than what is ''normally'' shown, so be it...it doesnt bother me, it's JUST skin.

  There are people who are overly sensitive to seeing skin..but that's their problem, not the breastfeeding mother's. just my 2cents.

  if you marry him, you will regret it.

  his love is conditional, it's not real love at all.

  You deserve better, if you are smart, (which i know you are)

  you will leave and find someone else who will give you honesty, respect and unconditional love. He is giving you none of that.

  he's been divorced TWICE for a reason..maybe his ex wives could give you some sound reasons as to why you shouldnt be with him.

  Listen to your brain, HUGE RED FLAGS ARE THERE! DONT IGNORE THEM!

  a newssource today quotes singer sheryl crow, an anti-global warming (which i applaud) activist, "i propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting.

  now, i dont want to rob any law-abiding american of his or her god-given rights, but i think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required.".

  not being a woman i don't know about that -- i have my doubts.

  I remember being asked to use only one square of paper towels to dry your hands with...and then they even had sisters ''guarding'' the papertowel dispensers handing out ONE SHEET per person....guess they didnt trust the sisters to follow their ''direction''.

  edited to add:

  ONE square?? ..even with the ''expensive'' brands of toilet paper...3 squares is often the minimum amount required to be sanitary.IMHO.

  public restroom toilet paper??? one ssquare? you cant even wipe up a droplet of water with that!! it's the same thickness as tissue paper...

  what would it change in your life right now if the watchtower fell apart and didn't exist anymore?.

  maybe some would want to join another realigion right away, because they still believed a bit of what they preached and didn't want to join a false religion, just as the jw's brand all other religions..... .

  If the Gov't was the entity to ban or dismantled the WTBTS, the WTBTS would only go underground to resurface later, and they would get their confirmation of persecution, gaining more credibility.

  It would be like cutting out only the surface of a tumour, and it metastazsizes.

  The only way people would get their eyes opended is if the WTBTS was exposed & publically taken to court for all the blood on their hands, all the money they have taken, and for their propaganda of lies,

  and if they openly admitted to publishing fraudulent prophesies.

  If that day ever happened, I would be OVERJOYED!

  it's really great to be back on here, i've missed you all so much.

  i'm home for the weekend, and feeling a lot better than i was earlier in the week.

  i picked up an infection and felt really awful for a day or two, but it's ok now.

  My best friend talks with me, shares laughter and tears with me, is there for me when I need them, and knows I am there for them.

  I can see them, hear them, touch them, & smell them.

  Does God do that?

  i was prompted to think further about this today when i was reading the following in a book called "headhunters":.

  "e-mails are a love of mine.

  i prefer them to communicating by word of mouth.

  Looking them in the eye, speaking with body language, facial expressions and words,

  depending on who you are communicating with, words aren't always necessary to get your thoughts across.

  If I cant have a face to face conversation, talking on the phone is second favourite, followed by instant messaging/email/texting.

  then when we got a little older we used to do our nails nail polish and all .
