okay, i switched to TDF's "Retail Therapy"...some way cool guitar work with electronica...even those "smooth jazz" peices all right.. (This was Eric Clapton's 1997 side project which he used the psuedonym "x-sample")

the heavy-handed tactics of the leaders of the watchtower society have begun to bear rotten fruit.

i suspect that it is just a matter of time before the need arises to coin some phrase to describe disfellowshipped or disassociated jehovah's witnesses who bomb conventions, shoot up kingdom halls or even attack bethel facilities.. leaders of the wts (and local elders) should stop and think about the lessons to be learned from columbine high school, the postal service (i.e.

well, the spirital/mental freedom came when i was young (read my post in personal experiences)...the physical came much later...i will post this sooner or later, i just need time to write a well-thought out post...i have written a lot about my JW days beofre, just not how I got out physically from the JWs.
that's true about other people who filled the void, in fact I might post a bioghraphy of the old man in job corps who was my dorm counsellor. He was inspired to beceme a mental health counsellor becuase, as he told me, of a JW teenager he taught in high school back in the late 1950s. I guess he helped the kid get out by loaning him a copy of "Catcher in the Rye".
And even my intro to literature professor helped me along, in fact, she's still my mentor and helped me get into writing.

why do almost 70% of the members who post here, put down the witness?

i'm not a witness and i dont wanna be one, but whatever the witness did to y'all, just put whatever in the pass, and look towards god's promises, and also look forward to christ promises, and remember that, aint nobody perfect, because we all is imperfect & full of sin...... .

I, for one, was not freed from the JWs by love. Even though I was freed mentally long before I got to physically leave, I was freed accidently by my sister's deviousness and selfishness and desire for revenge.

[edit note: trust me, this sentence may not make much sense to you, but basically i was freed on two levels: mentally (which actually took itself to complete in stages. and a pysical level: i literally became a prisoner of my JW mother....]

my girlfriend is cheating on me! what should i do?

hello everyone, i'm new to this site.

so i dont really know all the computer talk (i just learned jh) so if u can please type the word out i would be very grateful.

so here is my question...... i have a girlfriend we will make 1 year in oct. but i just found out that she has been cheating on me for 3 weeks.

How old are you? If you're still a teen, just let it go. Why? Even if she didn't cheat on you, there's something you wrote that really concerns me:

we have a certain respect for eachother, and i am too overprotective towards her. so she feels i dont trust her! but how can i trust a cheater? i have soo much respect for her i just want the same back for me!

This sounds like my wife. She's way too overprotective and suspicious. No matter what I say or no matter how much evidence points away from any bad behavior on my part, I'm guilty in her eyes until she decides I'm not guilty, which is rare on her part. (I'm not of the cheating kind, by the way.) It's actually insecurity that's driving this in her, and maybe even you. So whether she's cheating or not, you're gonna let your emotionas rule. Even if she's able to convince you she isn't guilty (regardless of actual guilt), there will be other times you will accuse her. Believe me, it's a cycle, and only you can break it. and if you don't break it, she will. And if neither one of you break it, this relationship of yours could be put into the dysfunctional category. If you're young, learn from this, please.

By the way, you don't say if you're an active Witness, an ex-Witness or what. What are you? I'm curious only b/c I find most ex-JWs who just got out are a little suspicious for a while... deprogramming, baby. Especially if your "gf" isn't or never was a Witness.
