  a number of news articles this week have centered on that fateful day of 9--11--.

  many experts have expressed concern that people seem to be forgetting september 11th.

  one article claimed that americans are much less concerned about the potential for more attacks as they are concerned over the economy.there was even a temporary bump in the organization, because of the fears associated with terrorism.

  It was a perfect example of what evil men can do in the name of God, a warped sense of power totally combine with true need for control over life& death with total arrogance, and the damage it did to so many innocent families.....uh.....that sounds somewhat familiar.....hmmmmm. Anyway.....this was the catalyst that caused me to finally take serious steps to move out of Manhattan, which will be soon! rocky220

  i've been thinking about changes in my world view lately and wonder if others have had a similarly subtle, yet profound, outlook on life.

  not being a jw nor even a believer anymore has made a subtle change that ive observed.

  to begin with, i read somewhere that people tend to bring their own standards to their religion.

  a friend of mine told me she saw on "law and order" (television program) that a jehovah witness refused a dna test.he was accused of rape.the court said that since it was against his religion that they could not test him.have any of you ever heard of this?

  there is no doubt in my mind that the glory days of jehovah's witnesses are over.

  from my knowledge and experience with wt history, i would define the glory days as the decades of the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970's.

  with knorr's great expansionary vision and discipline, dubs in the 1950's became a "somebody" in the 1950's.

  Advertising for silentlambs

  today, i downloaded a poster from silentlambs.org, and i will have it transfered to vinyl to be attractively and prominantly placed on my service van.

  the poster will be big, bold and easy to read.

  everywhere the van goes, people in traffic will be able to see it.
