  that was very courageous ontwo.

  Part of my strategy is to start forging links with nonjw's. Last night my jw husband accompanied me to a dinner party at my nonjw sister's home. All nonjw family there, christmas tree the works. He was very relaxed and happy to be there once he'd got through the door.

  Why be obedient to god?

  if a creator god is real and he is the source of life well then i would certainly acknowledge that and give him thanks for my existence and for the universe i live in.

  but obedience?.

  my mum and dad gave me life, ensured my education, looked after my health and wellbeing, loved me, taught me the value of kindness and friendships and so much more.

  my poor princess lost her tooth the other day.sadly it has adjusted her look.

  i was shocked when i saw my beautiful lil princess change so drastically as she tried to do her own hair and makeup along with a lost tooth.

  it is so damn cute tho'!!.

  How I lost my soul mate.

  i've shown this to a couple of friends, but i'm ready to widen that audience a bit.

  so, without further ado, here's my soul mate story.. i worked with amber and saw her a few times a week.

  when i first accepted a lead care position, she was the one who trained me in on med passing and from that first day i worked with her, i was so impressed by how kind and patient she was.

  Just attended my first 'Church event' in over 40 years! Maybe two!

  in spite of the fact that i consider myself christian now, post exit of the watchtower religion, i have not attended a single religious event or sermon inside a church since i was 5 years old [1960].

  today, we attended the christmas play for my 5 year old g-daughter at the church where she attends pre-school.

  i was absolutely ecstatic with the program.

  In my area an ancient united reformed church offers free quiet meditation early monday mornings every week. I think I might try that as a first visit back to a church. Love the feeling of old churches. They have a lot of mystery about them.

  The same church also has a cafeteria lunch time thing on wednesdays for people to come and talk and eat together.

  The amazing thing is that they advertise the above in a local free newspaper. So it is there for everyone

  just a little breaking news:.

  after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

  last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

  the door to door work is a sham.. the central activity of the watchtower bible and tract society is not spreading their so-called "messege" about the kingdom of jehovah established in the heavens in 1914. that's a load of propaganda.. the door to door activity is feckless in producing converts.

  in fact, it is an immense failure of mammoth proportions!.

  but, it is a diversion.

  Elderly, sick JWs who need help and care must look to their worldly relatives and the state for support and help but elderly governing body members (posing as anointed ones) must be supported/cared for by JWs.
