Well, if it's true (I somewhat hope it is. Death isn't quite what I want in the future), that'd be cool.
But that just means I need to learn to kick my spirit guides in the butts. Because they all SUCK....
BADLY.

What's Your Attitude Toward Men & Women----Stereotypical???
by minimus inare all men and women the same?
do you regard members of the opposite sex "typical"?
-
Anony-Mouse
Everybody IS equal. The end. Period.
But there are differences, obviously.
But stereotypes? Not here. Every girl is different.
And me? No way. -

www.nuklearpower.com - 8-Bit Theater, parody of Final Fantasy 1 webcomic
www.giantitp.com - (not a porn site :P ) Giant in the playground is the site name, Order of the Stick is the comic, parody of Dungeons and Dragons
www.fortunasaga.com - VERY good sprite comic. It actually has a dramatic storyline, interesting concepts (Darkness, completely unbiased, is good, and light,a combination of all colors, is evil) -

who besides me turned a friend into the elders for something trivial?
by PaNiCAtTaCk ini told on a girl for liking a worldy boy at school.
me and another brother actually waited down the street from the boys house to see if she went there after school, just to get some proof for the eders.
i cant believe i did that:( did anyone else spy on another witness like i did?

Turned in a kid from my school because he was wearing a cross.
I was so proud of myself....
Kinda funny, his freinds almost 'roughed me up' afterwords. Thankfully I've been tough looking the past few years, so they didn't lay a hand on me...I probably would have thought it was 'persecution'. -

Are the 24 elders the gods...I mean rulers...murders....ummm....the boss folk of JWness?
Never heard this phrase... -

What should I do? (stay or go?)
by Anony-Mouse inas you may (doubtfully) or may not (more likely) know, there's a certain girl at the kh i'm interested in.
very interested in.
the more i talk to her, the more i think she likes me back (i've always been a good judge of character, knock on wood :p ) .

You're all exactly right (cept wanderlustguy :P ) .
Oh well. I'll just have fun while it lasts .
And now, wanderlustguy:
"Dude...you're 17, and while you may think you know a lot about you now, you don't know jack. Think back to when you were 12, that was just five years ago. How much of the stuff you were interested in at 12 are you still into now? Just as you changed that much over those few years, you will continue to do so over the next 10-15. You don't even know what religion you are for crying out loud, how can you expect to know who you want to live your life with? "
You're right up until the last sentance. I know exactly what JWs are. It's a cult. But the latter half is true.
"Of course I remember when I was your age I knew every damn thing and was so in love with whichever girl was the closest or giving me some attention. The Truth has your mind all screwed up still, and you have to fix that FIRST, then figure out who you really are SECOND, and figure out what you want to do the rest of your life, and go about getting in the position to do it. After you do all of that...you might be in the position to screw someone elses life up by merging your goals into a long term relationship."
The 'Truth' hasn't controled me for several years. And I've been learning who I am in that time. And I am setting up the rest of my life....kinda :P .
"It's time to think with your mind...not your eyes, hands and wee wee. Women are not a possession, a slave, or someone to cater to you. Until you can see them as equal as a person...you will have it really hard.
Force yourself to get a grip on reality...it's not something they can teach you in The Truth."
And this is downright insulting. The whole reason I like her is because I can see her as equal. And I don't look at her because I'm horny, that's also not what I'm looking for. And, finally, I havn't heard a word they've taught in the truth for quite a while. -

As you may (doubtfully) or may not (more likely) know, there's a certain girl at the KH I'm interested in. VERY interested in. I'm almost 17, she's almost 15.
The more I talk to her, the more I think she likes me back (I've always been a good judge of character, knock on wood :P ) .
And I'm taking the advice given. I'll just stay freinds for now, get to know her, etc. We're both too young blah blah.
But I can't help but think about the future!
What if we do end up liking each other? I'd want to stay in contact with her after I turn 18. Her parents aren't going to let that happen with some "Worldly scum".
The only possible solution I can make is this:
When I turn 18, learn for certain how she feels about the religion. If she's devout, I'll tear out my heart, and leave her. If she doesn't belive it (she acts like I did at her age :P), I'll HAVE to stay for an additional 2 years.
A relationship needs communication and contact. 2 years apart doesn't sound like it'd work.
This is the number 1 problem I'm dealing with, and that's a good thing. It's so far off, I sholdn't worry, but this is the first time I've felt like this about a girl, and I've wanted to feel like this for a very long time. -

As a DUB, what did you do and hid so as not to stumble anyone?
by megsmomma ini was thinking of all the "concious matters" that you could do if you wanted, but would not tell anyone so you wouldn't get in "trouble".
one thing that came to my mind is when after having my baby, i wanted to join weight watchers...there were two meeting places to choose from...one close to me and in a church....and one quite far not in a church.
well, i went to the one in the church, always worried someone would see me(but i didn't really think it was a big deal) so, what did you all hide?

Video games....guh...
So what if every other character casts fire spells? And every character that doesn't do that chops up people with a sword.
Amazing thing, mom let me get Final Fantasy 3. She read the back (As always), and thankfully, it goes more into detail with the jobs system and 'conquering evil' than magic. -

Offended by this week's watchtower?
by Anony-Mouse init was about marriage.
personally, i think woman should be equals in a relationship, not the man as absolute ruler that listen's to his subject when it pleases him.
it just irritates me that women will never be considered truly equal in jws.

But it's not like to go all out to degrade women.
What do you girls out there think about the organisation or bibles view on women? -

So there's this girl...

So what if I'm 16? Almost 17!
Anyways...
There's this girl at our congregation. I thought she was cute and all...but one day she actually comes up and talks to me.
I'm a shy person at the meetings, but once you get to know me, I'm plenty fun :P .
So it struck me as odd.
So we talk and all, it was enjoyable.
And so thusly, I had my first crush.
This week, so volunteers to help us move. I, of course, think that she wants to be near me (why else? :P ). She even complemented my shoes that night!
Tonight at the meeting, she talks to me again. She initiated conversation and all. Just small talk, but I'm all excited cuz I'm a dorky little kid :P . But she is going to give me a music CD...that's as good sign methinks.
The problems are: I'm not aware of her status as a JW, meaning in or out. The music CD apparently has some bad language, she asked me if I was bothered by it. That means she isn't either. I'm mainly scared that if anything happens, she'd stick with the religion and tear my heart out.
And then there's the fact that she's 2 years younger than I am...while that doesn't bother me SO much (adult's age's vary all the time), I'm young. It's more important around this age.
I wouldn't mind a female freind, it's good practice getting used to the gender :P .
