On: The possible destruction of America

hyperbole has become fact: before us all looms the possible destruction of america.. .
no, the nation isn't going to blow up on monday if the democrats in congress fail to follow through.

I think that this is one of the reasons Bush's and Cheney's approval ratings are so low...
American people don't like how they're bending laws to thier breaking point.
I'm not really sure if Bush has actually broken any laws, as I'm just a kid, and I don't know nuthin! -

Everlasting life...
by Quentin ini think it would be safe to say that most people do not want to die when that time comes...yet, i wonder, how many people have really taken a hard cold look at the prospect of living forever...life without end.
wouldn't there come some point in time when insanity would set in....boredom would drive you over the edge.
i think you would go mad and want to kill yourself.... any thoughts?

Given the right circumstances...I think I could go on forever.
So long as there was an influx of new people and technology. I'd eventually forget what I did a million years ago, and doing it again would be just as fun :P . -

"Carnivores were designed to eat plants!"
by Anony-Mouse inso said one of my family members recently.
i'm pretty sure that if a lion eats grass, it will get sick.
and if lions were designed to eat grass, why do they have teeth perfect for eating meat?

Carnivores were "made to eat meat" after the flood. And dinosaurs were "killed during the flood". But I seem to remember that there are bones inside the stomachs of dinosaur predators, thus proving that they ate meat.
It just seemed to stupid to me for them to believe something like that so adamantly... -

If he has a myspace, is going to get punished for it, and is now calling radio stations about it, he's obviously going to leave now.
One down, 6,499,999 to go! (or insert a better number, cuz I have no idea how many there are) -

Found: planet that may hold the key to life beyond our solar system
by zagor inhttp://news.independent.co.uk/sci_tech/article2758835.ece .
it is a world where one side of the planet is bathed in perpetual daylight while the other is kept in infinite night.
here, an entire year passes in just over 48 hours and surface temperatures are hot enough to melt lead.

Oh....I was under the impression it was a rocky planet.
My bad. -

I'm sure liquid water could exist in the twilight area of the planet. An area with only a bit of light, but not so dark as to be cold.
Very interesting science finding out about the water tho. -

When you have a problem....
by lisavegas420 inwho do you turn to?
do you go to your spouse?
what if the problem is with your spouse, do you talk to your parents, siblings, work associates, doctor?
-
Anony-Mouse
I have no spouse or kids, but I can still answer the ones that apply to me!
Any problems I have, I always talk to my freinds. They make me feel better about it.
I don't really think I'm burdening them...I'm happy when they discuss thier problems with me, and we all do our best to help each other. -

I heard lots about it from nerds on forums, and we happen to have BBCAmerica.
So I watched it and love it.
