  it is that time of the year when the gb/wbts solicits funds.the gb/wbts say to the public we have no collections ever.we offer a free bible study.we offer w/o obligation a copy of the book.we offer a free home bible study.however.are the gb/wbts being honest,creditable;free from deceit.see the public wt of nov.1/08,dec1/08 and compare to the wt of nov15/08 which is only for j.w.. in the public issues there is no mention of donations/money etc.however in the j.w.

  issue we have the following.contributions can be made directly to "watchtower bible & tract society of-----------c/o-------.checks--(notice spelling) payable to "watchtower" what kind of religion is watchower).

  jewelry or other valuables,donations-money,gift annuity,insurance,retirement plans/funds/pensions plan,stocks & bonds,real estates,wills & trusts.note they also name the "watchtower" as a beneficiary of any wills/insurance/real estate.well folks that just about covers the whole nine yards and maybe the asshole.yet this same organization criticizes how other true religions solicits or appeals for funds for their operations.. what i would like to see done:is a copy of the nov.15/08 sent to all r.c.

  What I would like to see done:Is a copy of the Nov.15/08 sent to all R.C. Bishops and the Vatican in Rome.This would point out that all money collected by the GB/WBTS goes to some kind of an organization called "Watchotwer" and people are getting hosed by this scheme.

  Do JW's assist "worldy" people after natural disasters such as Katrina?

  when new orleans was flooded, did jw's in the area or from out of town gather to help those who were not jw's?

  or were there efforts focused only on kingdom halls and the homes of jw's?

  They sure do at least in their minds they think they help.Let me give you an example.9/11 WTC.an Elder told a R.C.priest he was their giving the workers hope from the Bible and that soon Gods kingdom would bring peace to the world.Than he asked what the priest was he doing there,the priest answered sheepishly as he wlked away 'I am bring water for the workers".Now you tell me who helps worldy people after disasters.

  Just a thought about your Q.what are worldy people?Are not all people from planet earth or are JW from some plave else.

  watch two videos on youtube...by kennyguilles..brahms-lullaby and innocence.. do you think that a loving god would destroy such innocence people,could he,would he.doesn't it bring tears to your eyes,breaks your heart to even think of such an evil thought.he wouldn't,he couldn't a loving parent/god, no no nooo,yet their are some people in this world wash,believe,think and hope that it will happen in the near future.so sad so sad.. bob.

  Is it the JW's or the God of the bible you no longer believe?

  i have a question for the ex-jw's on this forum after months of reading the forum..... many say how good it is to be free of the oppressiveness of the jw's that they can now enjoy the freedom to... have sex, celebrate christmas, gamble, embrace politics etc.

  there are still biblical scriptures and principles in place that if you still followed the bible would mean you avoid these things and yet these are now embraced as one of the perks of no longer being a jw so in my confusion i ask.... if these are what you want, isn't it more correct to say you no longer follow the bible as apposed to just the jw's?.

  It is the JW that I don't believe.You see they don't know what the Bible says.They are wishy washy and changed their minds just like the wind.One day the wind is blowing from the East and the next day it is from the West.As has been brought out on the Web, they shut down a site because it told the truth about the WBTS using their own publications. As one example,God's principles don't change yet they changed the principle on Blood.

  You will hear comments at JW meeting,that many so called worldly people have high moral standards but...than attempt to qualify their answers as to why these people are bad.

  As for myself and the Bible ,not enough time or room on this forum.
