strange comment from elder at the meeting today
by Evidently Apostate intodays watchtower was especially nauseating but during the study one of them made the comment concerning the big a " jehovahs timetable is not contingent on all nations being saturated by the good news".
the study conductor reafirmed his point and then continued.. wait a fuggin minute!
there are 1.4 billion chinese on the earth and only 40 million profess christianity.

Challenges Facing the Watchtower Org
by eric356 inive been thinking about the future of the watchtower organization and the challenges it faces in coming decades.
its difficult to address the issue without allowing personal feelings affect the analysis.
many people seem to think that the society will collapse fairly soon, based mostly on the fact that the person dislikes the leadership or cant understand how others can believe the doctrine.

I agree eric.Like earlier generation,secular skills,yeah all those smart Japan and the computers age(1980) developed a lot of things for the dummies in WT land.Japan has been on the decline.All growth is in 3rd world countries however I think the WT will be around for a while until the smart ones take control of it.

by bobld ini remember the advice they gave the younger generation.get an education you will never regret it.i wish i had because i would not have all the aches,pain,arthritis etc.good advice,that gen is in their sixties with a good retirement plan.the wbts generation still working hard aches,pain arthritis but the end is not here.. b. .

want to hear the latest debacle?
the po in my mom's congregation told them that at the next 1-day-assembly it will be the responsibility of every publisher to put 3 in the box towards the running costs at the assembly hall.

Yes.IT was $3.00 but no one new except the elders/po/co until they decided to pass a resolotion and increased it to $5.00 per publisher.I'll never understand expense for this c.a. is so many dollars when it is held in a Assebly hall that is paid for all expenses paid for(water/e/paper etc ins etc)The c.a/sad are part of our worship just like a sunday meeting.
If I rent a place and pay rent for all my utilities the landlord will not charge me extra for Xmas decorations.
