by Lady Zombie inat the wednesday night ministry school meeting, a letter from the society was read announcing that wtbts paperbacked publications will begin to be laminated.
according to the letter, this "will save approximately 2 million dollars per year," "lengthen the life of the publications," and "increase the attractiveness" of the publications.. so there's that.. .
also, will someone please explain to me why 85% of the congregation started smiling and nodding at this.. i sometimes think that headquarters could send the congregations boxes of turds and the jws would act like it was the best thing ever..

What is God's will in heaven for heaven's sake.Who are we to tell the Big guy what to do.Look Billions of billions have been telling him for 2000 years.It's about time we send him some hearing aids. You are correct the wbts is false in it's reasoning.In the June 1/08 wt they ask "Does it matter how we worship God? We may ask ourselves:What kind of worship does God approve?How can I draw close to God?And what should I personally do to worship God in an acceptable way?"Jw are happy to deceive you.
You see there is nothing in those questions about Jesus,why he came, why he died for us sinners.

by bobld inat the end of april,2008 the gb/fds( god's spokesperson/ channel of communication) cancelled/deleted one meeting where we are to gather,incite and love one another.. the bible,god's holy word at hebrews 10:24,25 let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works not forsaking the gathering of ourselves,as some have the custom,but encouraging one another,and all the more so as you should behold the day drawing near.. so the gd/fds says we do not have to gather together.do not have to incite to love.we have the custom of forsaking one another.the day in not near.. yet god's word says the exact opposite.. bob.
ps:when the annoucement was made the r&f said "was that not wonderful of the gb/fds of this new provision".sorry i'am confused who is right god or the gb/fds..

Struggling with the concept of a "God"
by littleblueuk inthis topic, i'm sure, has been discussed many times, but today i am really contemplating the concept of god.. i remember vividly the old testament; the israelites slaughtering everyone in their path, men, women and children at god's direction at jericho, leaving no one alive.
i remember thinking then as a child how cruel that was.
there are many other examples.. then reading the news today i read a section in the world news about india.

God went on a vacation and let mankind to take care of the Earth and has not returned.Much like parents go on vacation and have the children take care of the home.Well you know what happens if their are teenagers,they will invit all their friends over and destroy the house.However in the OT God should of been tried for his criminal acts.No one has the right to kill their children just because they are their parents.
