i recently told my mum that i needed to stop anything jw because of the anxiety and depression it has caused me for over 30 years.
she said 'oh well if thats what you have to do... but you know armaggedon is just around the corner and jehovah expects us to toe the line... faith without works is dead.'.

So the one that reports is she/he without sin?In what way are elders going to help...breakup the family.Why not offer REAL help.Idon't think they are qualified,because they are sinners.Did not Jesus die for our sins and don't give me that BS elders will help.OH maybe with the boot to the ASS.

the leaders,apostles,elders and older men(neanderthals) have a debate in jerusalem.they conculde that it is not req'd.they draft a letter for the missionaries(paul,timothy and others) so it can be read in all the congreg.. so what does paul do?he clips timmies penis because he is afraid of the what the jews will think.wtf.than he goes on and reads this directive(letter) from the gb to all the congreg,that clipping a penis is not req'd.what a hypocrite.. its like a co giving(allowing) his child a blood transfusion.than getting on the stage and reading a letter from the gb saying a blood transfusion is wrong.

i was fairly sure that he was very much on the edge of leaving to, or at least that he didn't believe it for a long time.
so i sent him an email in reply and told him basically everything i believed and the reasons i knew jws are not the true religion, and i also told him i was leaving.

If they have such love and peace why,do we hear time and again"we must watch our association even our brothers and sisters in the congregation".Why are brothers and sisters left out of association(invites to potluck suppers card night etc) if their service hours are low

So the GB realize their present method of doing from door-to-door is not effective.Why not go the whole route,use T.V./RADIO/INTERNET to spread the good news(not sure why they call it good news here)when it's God's Kingdom everwhere else.

Attended 2-Day Circuit Assembly--Highlights
by Cadellin insince my spouse is an active elder, i accompany him to sads, cas and das, at least for the time being.
anyway, i thought i'd share some of the more odd/disturbing bits from the latest "sanctify god's name" ca.
there wasn't anything particularly new but the tone toward porn, higher ed, bad assoc, "habitual" murmuring and harmful gossip is definitely hardening, as are the cautions against social networking.
